So someone showed me some ebay auctions. The seller is saying they are a mistake and were never supposed to be released, but I dunno. I see it with the EN and MDP2 which leads me to believe we are getting another McDonalds promotion soon. What interest me is that it is more crappy monsters, but friggin Aqua Dragon is in it and I will bid on it. Not one of you bid on it on eBay or suffer my wrath.
 
Wow, those look pretty real! I'm just not sure about the MDP2 though. Wouldn't it have been MP2 to match the original release?
 
Nah, it makes perfect sense since series 501 and onward is going for a 4 lettering system. I think these are real and he just thinks they are a mistake. Either way, I am getting Aqua Dragon and if anyone dares tries to take it from they will know the true power of Silent Hill as I unleash it upon you.
 
You know, if you don't want anyone to bid on it, announcing it here was certainly not the best way to do that! No worries, I'm not interested myself. I've got enough jank here to last a lifetime!!

But they do look quite real, and I've heard rumors about a second McDonald's release for some time now. I tend to believe the seller on this one.

Go for it .... if you win, I'd like to know if they do turn out to be 100% genuine!

skey ... I've also heard rumors of a switch to a 4-digit prefix for cards coming up as well. They need to do something for DL10, SD10, etc, or change the letters which wouldn't make sense. That will so kill RONIN temporarily :D Besides, if they know it will kill RONIN, they'll certainly do it. <digs out RONIN 1.1 code and dusts it off>

edit: lo and behold RONIN can handle 4-digit/letter set codes just fine the way it is. Score one more for EGI.

Could I get all available information on Aqua Dragon? If it's something I'm interested in, I'll buy it when the promotion comes out and not before.

Just do a search on ebay for MDP2 and it will bring them all up.
 
Actually it seems all of those auctions just vanished. Someone bought Kaiser Dragon for $20 though, but I got the feeling he was scamming people or he ended all of his early.

Someone posted the links at Pojo, which is usually the kiss of death for things like this since UDE monitors their forums heavily nowadays.

I would e-mail the guy if I were you ... if he was forced to remove the auction, he might still be willing to sell you the cards under the table.

(I still think they were real)
 
I looked at them and they seem to be the real thing too. I think someone at shipping will have to answer for the mix up.
 
What will be even funnier is if one day I am in McDonalds and I order a kids meal and I get YGO cards.
 
I've known about this for about 3 weeks now...but I wonder what the holo's will be...some cool blown out vanilla tributes =D
