Are you sure on that?Big Oldprankster said:Do not forget that even though you would want to activate the effect of Thousand Eyes Restrict, your opponent would have an opportunity to chain to this effect. If he did and turn player did not respond, then resolve the chain. He could activate a card such as Enemy Controller sacrificing one of his monsters to take control of TER which then its effect would not happen.
Simple enough. Guess I overlooked the "Select 1 monster on your OPPONENTS ..."densetsu_x said:Because if "Enemy Controller" is used to take ontrol of "Thousand-Eyes Restrict", the monster targeted is no longer on the opponent's side of the field, it's on the same side of the field so as such, the effect Disappears.
I read it as the opponent used "Enemy Controller" to tribute the monster targetted by "TER", but either way it still causes "TER"s effect to 'fizzle'....lol.densetsu_x said:Because if "Enemy Controller" is used to take ontrol of "Thousand-Eyes Restrict", the monster targeted is no longer on the opponent's side of the field, it's on the same side of the field so as such, the effect Disappears.
Dillie-O said:But wait...maybe I'm over thiniking again, but you select the monster to be sucked up when you activate the effect of TER, yes? In that case the target for the monster was legal and should't be affected during resolution, short of TER being flipped face down (since you can do equips to face down monsters) or TER being destroyed (since dead monsters get no equips - Imagine hearing that on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride 8^D)
