Mirror Wall
Continuous Trap
Halve the ATK of all your opponent's attacking monsters. Pay 2000 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. If you do not, destroy this card.

How long does the effect of mirror wall last? I don't mean how long does it stay on the field - but rather how long does the halving last. Til the end of the turn or until mirror wall is removed from the field?

Eg. of what i mean:
Player A attacks with BEWD.
Player B activates mirror wall to reduce damage taken.

Next turn, Player B summons a Pitch-Black Warwolf to destroy BEWD. Is this correct or would BEWD regain its full attack after the end of turn or end of battle phase?

huh???

I thought that Mirror Wall halves their ATK as long as it (mirror wall) remains faceup on the field. It says nothing about "only during your opponents battle phase".... am I missing something???

The ATK decrease is permanent as long as Mirror Wall remains on the field. The only thing that matters is that the monster attacked. After it has attacked, it will remain affected by Mirror Wall until Mirror Wall is either negated or leaves the field. If you attack me with Summoned Skull and I activate Mirror Wall, your ATK will be 1250 and will stay that way until Mirror Wall leaves the field. I could attack with my Harpie Lady (1300) to your now affected Summoned Skull and assuming no other changes, your Summoned Skull is destroyed.

um.. i thought the same as densetsu_x because of the word 'attackING' in the card text... but i seriously don't know... Any official word out there? Thanks alot.

Payment for the effect of "Mirror Wall" is optional.
The ATK decrease by "Mirror Wall" remains as long as "Mirror Wall" remains on the field.
The effect of "Mirror Wall" is not targeting.
