Monarch Burn Conversionâ„¢

I Loooove Burn!!! Ever since Burn Stein, i've been using that deck so many times and beaten lots of decks... stall deck, dark world, toolbox, beatdown, even went head to head with monarch (meaning that i won some, i lost some... alot more won then lost if you can believe it)... but i've noticed that monarch has the best chance in beating the deck as its more cc-ish and has alot of cards that can mess this deck up... i also have my own lil monarch archtype deck that i've finished and it has been successfull on and off... but just like Igor Kharin did back in his era... i want to mix two deck types... the cc and the underdog... i think burn decks are still underdogs even with the support they got from cdip, i dont think its enough to make them big and the cc right now is monarch, and we can pretty much confirm it since its running everywhere... so without further ado... heres my invention:

As you may wonder, why is the burn not the sidedeck and the monarch not the main deck?! its simple, if you play burn and sidedeck practically your whole sidedeck in... what will your opponent think? they'll think your running burn stein and siding in stein otk... but to theyr suprise... it'll be monarch... if i had monarchs first, then side everything... they wont exactly know what im siding and henceforth, not be fooled. anyways please fix this as im trying to make this deck SJC/Regional worthy, im also gonna give it numerous tests to see what should be weeded out.
 
As someone who burns myself. thats a intresting deck. most people when it comes to burn use fire monsters like solor flaire dragon and fire princess.
what I find helps cards like injection fairy lile and monarch cards is divine wrath. that can sometimes help me win duels.

I think this is a well built burn deck! keep on going!

thx... im thinking of replacing poison of the old man with chain strike when its aloud
 
When I play Lava Golem I've had great success with Compulsory Evacuation Device. CED allows me to relaim Lava Golem to be used again, in this deck it will also let you reclaim MOF, MOD, Moprhing Jar, etc. or use it on an opponent's monster. That makes it a very high utility card in this deck. Give one or two a try perhaps instead of Poison of the Old Man.
 
thx, ill try that... although i wont return lava golem... generally i want them to take that 1000 dmg and force out an early tribute... id keep ced for something more worthwhile.
 
You're focusing on Lava Golem as an instrument of burn, I understand that. Don't just half use the card though. You know how effective Zaborg is in the current meta obviously, think as Lava Golem as a double barreled Zaborg WITH burn.

You're playing two copies of Ojama Trio. Once activated that leaves only two monster areas for play by your opponent. Those two monster areas are easily controled by Lava Golem / CED / Ring.

Get all the use of Lava Golem you can!
