Another stupid question....

Player A: Has face Monk Fighter

Player B: attacks with breaker.

Player A: Says hes not detroyed because his effect is like Waboku.


My under standing of this card is that it will be detroyed but wont take damage from the attack.. kinda like a Kuriboh effect?

"Monk Fighter" can still be destroyed by battle. Any excess Battle Damage from that Battle will become 0. So his effect is more like that of a "Kuriboh" than that of "Waboku".

They 'key' words are "this card's controller", which can only mean the player.
