First of all, I have no idea when most of these cards are going to come out in the TCG, if at all. With that said, let's take a look at some deadly/fun monsters we'll probably be using in a couple months/years time:

Blast Sphere:
Effect Monster (DARK/Machine/Level 4/ATK 1400/DEF 1400)
When your opponent attacks this monster in face-down defense position, this card is treated as an Equip card and is used to equip the attacking monster (damage is not calculated). The equipped monster and this card are destroyed during your opponent's next Standby Phase. Your opponent then receives Direct Damage equal to the equipped monster's ATK.

Adhesive Explosive's bigger brother. The one we wanted and will get if you got a Shonen Jump subscription.

Botanical Lion:
Effect Monster (EARTH/Plant/Level 4/ATK 1600/DEF 2000)
Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each face-up Plant-type monster that is face-up on your side of the field. While this card is face-up on the field, control of this card cannot switch.

Kool! Now if only we had more Plants...

Curse of Vampire:
Effect Monster (DARK/Zombie/Level 6/ATK 2000/DEF 800)
Whent his card is destroyed in battle and sent to the graveyard, you can pay 500 life points to Special Summon it to your side of the field during the Standby Phase of the next turn. When this card is successfully Special Summoned using this effect, its ATK increases by 500.

Ooh! A different form of Vampire Lord, sort of. Yet another reason why Zombies are dangerous.

Cyber-Tech Alligator:
Normal Monster (WIND/Machine/Level 5/ATK 2500/DEF 1600)
A winged dragon brought back to life by means of modern technology.

Starter decks. XP

Dandylion:
Effect Monster (EARTH/Plant/Level 3/ATK 300/DEF 300)
When this card is sent to the graveyard, Special Summon 2 "Fluffy Tokens" (WIND/Plant/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your side of the field in defense position. The tokens cannot be used as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon during the turn it is Special Summoned.

Well, this card just SCREAMS abuse, doesn't it? Hope we get it soon!

Dark Avatar:
Effect Monster (DARK/Fiend/Level 10/ATK ?/DEF ?)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set except by Tributing 3 monsters. When this card is Normal Summoned, your opponent cannot be activate any Spell or Trap cards for 2 of your opponent's turns. The ATK and DEF of this monster becomes the ATK of the face-up monster on the field with the highest ATK + 100 (excluding a "Dark Avatar").

Damn. Talk about a beast. Word on the street says we'll be getting late in the year in the Shonen Jump magazine. (Subscription only, again!)

Dark Dreadroute:
Effect Monster (DARK/Fiend/Level 10/ATK 4000/DEF 4000)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set except by Tributing 3 monsters. While this face-up card remains on the field, the ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field are reduced by half, except this card.

Wow? (Subscription only.)

Dark Eraser:
Effect Monster (DARK/Fiend/Level 10/ATK ?/DEF ?)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set except by Tributing 3 monsters. The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to the number of cards on your opponent's side of the field x 1000. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, destroy all cards on the field. You can choose to destroy this face-up card on your side of the field.

Hmm...I have mixed feelings about this one. Sure, it's an anytime-field bomb, but it's ATK and DEF effect is what worries me... (Again, Subscription only.)

Dark Red Enchanter:
Effect Monster (DARK/Spellcaster/Level 6/ATK 1700/DEF 2200)
When this card is Normal Summoned, put 2 Spell counters on it. Each time you or your opponent activates a Spell Card, put 1 Spell Counter on this card. Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each Spell Counter on this card. By removing 2 Spell Counters from this card, select 1 card from your opponent's hand randomly and sent it to the graveyard. You can only activate this effect once per turn.

Wow. A Breaker, for hand destruction. A Don Zaloog for Spellcasters. Wow. Not sure when we get him, but I hope it's soon! ^__^

I'll post more soon. ^__^

You know, most of these have already been mentioned in the "Looking Ahead" series that I've been doing. Some of these I will be covering shortly (since I said, I wasn't doing it on a set schedule). Thanks.

You're welcome. Now for some more cards:

Dark Ruler Vandalgyon:
Effect Monster (DARK/Dragon/Level 8/ATK 2800/DEF 2500)
This card can be Special Summoned from your Hand after you have cancelled out the effect of a card controlled by your opponent using a Counter Trap card. When this card is successfully Special Summoned in this way, the following effects are activated, depending on the cards whose effects were originally cancelled:
  • Spell: Reduce your opponent's life points by 1500.
  • Trap: Choose one card on your opponent's side of the field and destroy it.
  • Effect Monster: Choose one card from your Graveyard and Special Summon it to your side of the Field.
Hmm.

Destiny Hero - Plasma:
Effect Monster (DARK/Warrior/Level 8/ATK 1900/DEF 600)
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 monsters. Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). The ATK of this card increases by half of the ATK of the monster equipped with to this card. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, the effects of all face-up Effect Monsters on your opponent's side of the field are negated.

By far, without a doubt, the heaviest hitter in D-Hero history. D-Hero fans will lay eggs whenever we get him.

Electromagnetic Bagworm:
Effect Monster (LIGHT/Insect/Level 3/ATK 200/DEF 1400)
FLIP: Gives you control of one of your opponent's Machine-type monsters until your next End Phase. Any monster which destroys this card during battle has their ATK and DEF reduced by 500 points.

Cool. The Flip Effect monster version of Electric Virus with an extended effect and a bonus Slate Warrior-type effect.

Elemental Hero The Heat:
Effect Monster (FIRE/Pyro/Level 4/ATK 1600/DEF 1200)
Increase the ATK of this monster by 200 points for each "Elemental Hero" monster that is face-up on your side of the field.

Yes, you heard me right. An E-Hero that ISN'T A WARRIOR. But he could beocme a useful beatstick for E-Heroes. They need one.

Gorz the Emissary of Darkness:
Effect Monster (DARK/Fiend/Level 7/ATK 2700/DEF 2500)
When there are no cards on your side of the field, if you take damage from a card your opponent controls, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If you Special Summon this card successfully in this way, the following effect activates depending on the type of damage you received:
  • If it was Direct Damage, Special Summon 1 "Emissary of Darkness Token" (LIGHT/Fairy/Level 7/ATK ?/DEF ?). The ATK and DEF of this token is equal to the amount of Battle Damage you received.
  • If the damage was from a card effect, your opponent receives the same amount of damage you received.
What a beast. He'll definitely change certain playabilities of certain deck types. Let's cross our fingers for him soon. ^_^

Light and Darkness Dragon:
Effect Monster (LIGHT/Dragon/Level 8/ATK 2800/DEF 2400)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. The attribute of this card is also treated as DARK while it is face-up on the field. While this card remains face-up on the field, the effects of Effect Monsters, and the activation of Spell and Trap cards are negated. Each time a card's activation is negated by this card's effect, decrease the ATK and DEF of this card by 500 points. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, select 1 monster in your graveyard. Destroy all cards on your side of the field. Special Summon the selected monster to your side of the field.

I believe Densetsu_x already mentioned this card before. And I can't wait for it. Negation to the MAX.

Necroface:
When this card is Normal Summoned successfully, you can retuan all cards that were removed from play back to the owner's deck, and then shuffle your deck. The ATK of this card increases by 100 points for each card that was returned to the owner's deck by this effect. If this card is removed from play, both players remove from play the top 5 cards of their decks.

This thing, combined with Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure/BotL/BotR can single handedly bring back Mill decks. This thing will shake up the game dramatically.

Skull Descovery Knight:
Effect Monster (DARK/Fiend/Level 4/ATK 1900/DEF 1800)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. When the effects of an Effect Monster are activated, this card must be given as a tribute if it is face-up on the field. It cancels the activation and effects of the Effect Monster, destroying it.

Cool. Not sure about when or if we'll get him.

Summon Priest:
Effect Monster (DARK/Spellcaster/Level 4/ATK 800/DEF 1600)
This card cannot be given as a Tribute. When this card is successfully Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, it is switched to Defense Position. By discarding 1 Spell card from your hand, you can Special Summon one Level 4 monster from your deck. The monster Special Summoned by this effect canot attack for the duration of the turn. You can only activate this effect once per turn, during your Main Phase.

Neat.

Tualatin:
Effect Monster (LIGHT/Fairy/Level 8/ATK 2800/DEF 2500)
You can only activate this card's effect during your opponent's Battle Phase. If you have 2 or more monsters on your side of the field and they are all destroyed as a result of battle during the Battle Phase and sent to the Graveyard, you may Special Summon this card from your hand. If you successfully Special Summon this card in this way, declare an Attribute. Any face-up monsters on the field of the declared Attribute are destroyed. After, as long as this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot Normal Summon or Speical Summon any monster of that Attribute.

Attribute Repellent. Nice.

Vortex Kong:
Effect Monster (LIGHT/Beast/Level 4/ATK 1800/DEF 1000)
When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's life points, send 1 card off the top of your opponent's deck to the Graveyard for each face-up LIGHT monster on your side of the field.

Neat little Deck Destructor.

That's all I have for now. Go ahead and give any other information on these if you have any. ^___^
