Monsters unaffected by Spell Cards VS Gravekeeper's Servant & Toll

I think: monsters UNAFFECTED by Spell Cards (Horus LV6, Legendary Fisherman while Umi in on the field...) can attack as normal, the attacking player haven't to pay 500 lp or discard a card from the top of the deck to declare an attack with one of these monsters.

But someone says that those costs are paied at declaration of the attack, and are paied even the attacking monster is unaffected by Spell Cards.

Who is right?

Most of everything you are looking for is posted here in this forum, you just have to search for it. I usually do an Advance Search, type in the name of the card in Question, and tell it to look through the titles only. 9 times out of 10 I'll get the post I'm looking for with the right answer. In this case, there were only 3 threads that came up after searching for "Gravekeeper's Servant". The 3rd one would have answered all your Questions.

Eheh, I ALWAYS use card registry! But, in this case, there's no ruling helping me: if you try to search for Toll, Gravekeeper's Servant, The Legendary Fisherman or Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, you'll find some rulings, but not the ruling you need.

That's why I decide to ask here.

hey madma...tgo720 here..look i use a combo that is based around a couple of "not effected by spellcards"mnst..and
if u download or just look at the advance journal 1.3 u will see they have it list for said info ur looking for .........
p.s. ur buddy that told u that was an is wrong...if u have "any monster" that has that effect i.e: horus lv6/8,Silent Swordsman LV5 e.t.c.
u do not discard for gravekeppers servant..an u do not pay for Toll,level limit area-b..your mnst are unaffected an can stay in atk..the same for swords o.r.light, stubling,M.O.P.
"again the unaffected by "SPELL CARDS" explains that...
they still can be tageted or selected for some spell cards effects like..exp:creture swap if the only monster u have is "unaffected by spell cards" the effect of creture swap will diapear when resolved....yet if u use d.d.gate
an target ur "unaffected by spell cards"mnst an ur opponents mnst ..only ur opponents mnst wil be removed from play..not urs..
