-----------

Oh yeah, what are the Japanese rulings for Chimera so far anyway? Cause I'm wondering about some of Chimera's stuff. Like say I fusioned 6 Machines (with 1 Cyber) to summon Chimera. Can I attack say all 4 sheep tokens on the foe's field + 1 random defense monster (Not Reaper) and then attack directly? Or is Chimera like Asura Priest where if it attacks a monster first, it cannot attack directly. And other rulings of course.

And how does the Japanese make their Chimera deck? (Or do they just tech in random Overload in their Chaos deck since Chaos are already running like 3x Cyber/Deko/Stein/etc. )

Response to the rulings question:

It's not an omnipotent creature, it can target more than one monster on the field, not "attack more than once."

Come on, I need help on this! I really want to make this deck.

From what I heard, these are the "Staples" for a Chimera OTK.

3x Cyber Dragon
Jinzo
Spell Canceller

3x Future Fusion
3x Dimension Fusion
3x Overload Fusion

Fusion deck
3x Chimera

Any other help? I should probably have alot of stalls. (And maybe even Gravity Bind or LLAB. When Chimera hits, they all go away anyway. :p)

Just a silly (but entirely possible) thought that crossed my mind. A deck that includes these....

Heart Of the Underdog
Fusion Gate
Return From the Different Dimension
Limiter Removal
Big Bang Shot

3x Mechanical Chaser
3x Battle Footballer
3x X-Head Cannon
3x Inpachi

3x Chimeratech Overdragon

Yeah I know it's not optimal.....but it's different and doable.

Hmm, what other "Normality" could you work into that? I've been wracking my brain for a good Normality Deck for years now. Even though Soul Resurrection brings them out in Defense, it's three potential more Calls for your deck. Something to think about for sure.

It really incoroperates two of my favorite fun decks...my normal water monster deck with Heart Of The Underdog and my Fusion Gate/ Rfdd deck.

I haven't seen this theme used with Chimeratech Overdragon as of yet....I'll start a different thread and we can develop it together as a community and let the original thread purpose go on.

Man, I really wish I can combine Future Fusion with Exchange of the Spirit :p (I know, first turn kill cheapness.)

And man, I'm LOVING my Helping Robo For Combat! It works SO WELL with Thunder Dragons. Now I'm getting even more use out of these extra card fodders other then the usual Card Destruction/Mallet/PoA.

Another fix

-1 Cannon Soldier (Don't need him too much.)
-1 Blowback Dragon

And for the sidedeck, I might just mine as well throw in Stein/Will/Exiled combo. (It's already a machine deck with limiter at the side anyway)

+1 Barrel Dragon (just Blowback upgrade, this "dead card" isn't so bad with Robo fuel loop)
+1 Perfect Machine King (He's a "back-up" if Chimera dies when Overload but before Dimension like my foe using BTH before Jinzo hits the field.)

With the huge hand card advantage, I can't use Mechanical Hound anymore so that's definately out. In my first version, I usually had all s/t stuck in my hand when I have the Future/Overload/Dimension combo so that worked, i.e. I set all my s/t before Dimension activation for Mechanical Hound instead of Canceller, but now that doesn't work since I have alot of monsters stuck in my hand too cause of massive draw power.

Blasted new ruling of Future Fusion being 1x...... okay, made these changes but still not sure if it'll work. My worse fear is Ring of Destruction. It's one thing that when I Overload Fusion being busted by BTH/Torrential, (Cause I can still Dimension Fusion with Perfect Machine King with the usual other machines for game) but Ring of Destruction is another. That'll force a tie as both player's will take like 12000+LP damage or something.

Tribute - 10
Barrel Dragon
Cyber Dragon x 3
Jinzo
Spell Canceller
Perfect Machine King
Thunder Dragon x 3

Non-Tribute - 17
Cyber Phoenix x 3
Dekoichi x 3
Drillroid
Helping Robo for Combat x 3
Magical Merchant x 3
Morphing Jar
UFO Turtle x 3

Card Destruction
Dimension Fusion x 3
Future Fusion
Graceful Charity

Nightmare's Steelcage
Overload Fusion x 3
Pot of Avarice

But seriously... I'm not sure if this is good enough...

Nice Decks scheme
I would add in the following:
Submarineroidx2
Fusiler Dragonx2

These Guys still work with overload fusion,Submarineroid attack the opponent directly and switches to defense and Fusiler dragon is basicly a 2800 Atk monster the helps when your using Dimension Fusion
I was wondering in all the talk about Chimeratech can it attack an opponent directly equal to the number of monster used to summon him?

You can ONLY attack monsters for as many material you have fused for his summon.

A direct attack will always be ONCE, unless he is using an external effect that allows for multiple attacks (which will never be more than 2 times).

FOC OTK this is the New Top Meta Deck!
And fro those of you who don't know what FOC stands for it's "Future Fusion", "Overload Fusion", "Chemiratech Overdragon", use x2 "Overload Fusion".
