Need some help or advices...

Hi guies,

There's a thing that I don't understand. It's made plus or minus 2 years that I play this game (Yu-Gi-Oh!) and, believe me or not, I never won a single match.

Oh! Losing is good and it make the player more experimented, but to win ( at least once) will be nice.

So please, tell me how can I ameliorate my poor score.

I already read several deck lists, but I don't have the most of cards that are listed.

There could be several contributing factors. It could be the cards you have access to, or the style of decks you build. Sometimes it's difficult to combine your personal playing style with the deck types you typical play. You may have to take a step back for a little while and take a look at the way you play vs. the way people in your area usually play. You may find that your strategies are sound, but that they don't work against the common deck types your likely to face. Then again, the fact that you don't have access to all the cards you need can be hurting your game too.

I haven't won a VS System game in about 6 months. I know why I haven't. I've been focused on the forums and Yu-Gi-Oh! for so long that my friends have surpassed me in knowledge and deck building experience. I can realistically say that I have a lot of catching up to do in that game. The best thing to do is to be as brutally honest with yourself as you can. Really look objectively at your game, playing style and card access and weigh all the factors. In the end, it may not be what you think it was. It may even be hard to swallow. But if you can objectively see where your weaknesses lie, then your much closer to addressing those weaknesses and closer to winning a few games.
 
I must say, though, that I really admire you. Most other people would quit if they couldn't win a single game in a quarter of that time period. Bravo!
 
Ah Digital Jedi, what would we do without him? :huh_jedi: (Although I'm still confused why his name is Digital Jedi and has a Solar Flare Dragon symbol :cog_huh2_ ) I remember the first tourney I went to not that long ago. I went in with little practice at home, (mostly from the videogames) thinking I would return a champion. I couldn't be farther from the truth and finished dead last. My deck was completely brutalized. On that unfortunaye day I learned how little I knew of the game, and how badly constructed my deck was.

But as the saying goes (I think) "one learns more in defeat than in victory." Such has proven true for me. I've rebuilt my deck from the ground up and it now has more power and synergy than ever. And whenever I get the chance to return to that tournament, I'm confident I'll finish in 8th place (brimming with confidence arn't I :woot_jedi .

So I'd take DJ's advice. Take a step back and look at your deck and strategy and see what isn't working and needs to be fixed/replaced. Do this and you'll finally taste the sweetness of victory. :dancepart

:D I chose the user name for myself on the very second forum I ever joined and decided that I would always use that name or variation if I could. Then when I joined here, it was the only preset avatar that suited me. Since then, it's sort of become my trademark and distinguishes me from all those other Digital Jedis out there. ;)
