As I greatly enjoy doing, I was building decks out of cards that seem to sit in my binder, hate to see good cards go to waste. I'd decided to build a Relinquished deck, my last Relinquished deck I scraped about a year ago, it was an Exodia / Relinquished deck.

As I thought about Relinquished and it's effect an old favorite of mine popped into my head....The Dark Door. It seemed perfect and terribly annoying to use with Relinquished. Now that I had that combo I expanded on the theme, Big Shield Gardna I thought would be a great combo with The Dark Door and I side decked Jetroid as well. I've always liked using Thunder Dragons with Relinquished, helps to keep my hand size up, with Thunder Dragons and Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands, MOF, that's a lot of light monster going to the graveyard, I added a copy of Soul Of Purity and Light.

The normal support S/T for Relinquished were added, a copy of Emergeny Provisions, a copy of Fulfillment of Contract, and I added a copy of Interdimensional Matter Transporter (never used it with Relinquished but it seemed like a good idea) and I'm trying out two copies of Waboku in this deck for when Relinquished is attacked twice.

Today I read Julia's article on Neo-Spacian Ground Mole....now THIS guy is going to be FUN with The Dark Door!

I can see using Neo-Spacian Ground Mole in a Rat Control deck with great effectiveness as well as in any stall deck. This little gem is a great way to get rid of any big hitter and Jinzo if you're running a deck heavy with traps.

I really like this new monster and I know I'll be using him often!

According to Julia's article on Metagame today....

".....when this monster attacks or is attacked, you can return both the Grand Mole and your opponent's monster involved in the battle back to the owner's hand. You do it at the start of the damage step, without performing damage calculation"

OMG the stategies I can think of. He may cost a summon but can be really annoying. I thought playing Forced Back on tributes was wrong. This guy can be evil.

Man, I can just imagine a Chimeratech running into this guy. Or worse: this dude running into a Chimeratech...

Wow, I read the article on this at metagame just now and all I can say is WOW! This is probably going to become as used as much as Treeborn Frog, for different reasons, obviously. Maybe it will be used more.... WOW!

Keep in mind...it won't be as 'good' as people think when they realize it doesn't get it's effect if attacked while face-down....lol.

True, true... I like the idea of ramming it though and removing from the field a high ATK monster with no damage. Sweet!

Maybe I'm also all hyped up on this because I like the forgotten Rock monsters... yet another good effect monster for my Megarock Dragon if it ends up in the graveyard.

PS: In Julia's article, she calls him both Ground Mole and Grand Mole.

Well, you can play Grand Mole face-up all the time. (It just get rid of the surprise factor) He doesn't go through damage calculations. So hits ATK/DEF stat really means nothing. (unless he attacks directly)

And nice that it skips the face-down monsters it attacks without being flipped. (MSLV2 effect)

Grand Mole is going to be quite a little pest once it gets here. Since it will pretty much stop anything attacking it, it will force your opponent to use a monster removal effect to get rid of it for good (unless you're using Skill Drain).

It will only stop attacks if it's face-up before the Damage Step. If it's attacked while face-down, it won't be stopping anything.

Hey, it's already hitting the 1x per deck for this guys. I guess in japan, these guys are running havoc already just as we're guessing.
