new CCG/TCG forums?

if new games are release will a forum be set up for them? or at least a "sub-forum" under a more general main topic until it shows it will actually last? (ahem, Shaman King one-set wonder comes to mind)

the new Chaotic CCG was just released in stores recently with the accompanying online version currently in beta. It looks somewhat similar mechanically to FullMetal Alchemist as it utilizes locations, but the battles are one on one at any given time instead of massive assaults that the others seem to evolve to...

I'm currently on the demo team for it and i'm looking into seeing how it works. Hopefully will be able to get some better understanding on it soon.

P.S. for those that don't remember or weren't around in the old COG days.... I was one of the guys that tried to develop and support the SK game before UDE yanked it after just one set. The game mechanics still exist as "QuickStrike" (Pirates of the Caribbean, etc)

Just a shame that it didn't get a full chance to succeed.

I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll set up a forum here for the purposes of testing the waters for new games' sake. Possibly something like a "Construction Site" or something keeping with the theme of a City. I'll add and remove games form that section as it's popularity becomes clear.

Currently, I'm looking to see where the best areas are to expand, since I remember those days when CoG had Shaman King forum. (And a Hecatomb forum. And a Full Metal Alchemist forum. And a ZatchBell! forum. And a Duelmasters forum. And a Board Games forum. And a... come to think of it, for some reason, we never had a Dragon Ball Z forum.) But they just never took off. I still plan on keeping the major TCG sections, just because. But a section to kind of get a feel for some games would probably make more sense then the way we've been doing it; trying to guess which ones to pick.

But at least all but SK had several sets to make the effort.
Still hard to believe UDE yanked SK before the first set even really had a chance.... I had a bunch of people at the game shop willing to play and willing to get cards, but they were almost impossible to get except at BB Video stores. So the supply route was the biggest failure there.. not the game itself. At the very least, just re-back the cards with the QS logo (QuickStrike) and put them back out there. Or side note that they are legal to use in QS tournaments

Still, I like the "construction site" idea... I'm gonna try and demo the game if i have time this weekend working around WOW tourneys, etc.

Can we add "Construction Zone" to the main "map"?

Like under the first section that includes "Forum", etc. Can we put "Construction Zone" there to make it easier for users to find? Or make it into its own "CCG Borough" for up-and-comers and newcomers to the TCG world?

BTW LOVE the Constructicon picture on it... talk about reliving old times... LOL

Yeah, I thought I had done that already. I'll go ahead and add that now. Glad you like the pic. I wondered if anyone could figure it out at such a small size.

Incidentally, if you meant to make an "under construction" forum for the Naruto CCG, you misspelled it "Naturo". Unless I haven't heard of the Naturo CCG, which is quite likely as I'm not at all in the card game scene.
