If the mods feel this would be better suited in the video game section of the site feel free to move it. I just thought here more people would see it that it might interest.

I would like to compile a list of bonusus given in the DS yugioh game. Any ones people know about that I do not have please let me know and how to do it and I will add it to the list.

type of bonus (amount) - description

The list as of Wendsday October 19 at 4:00 P.M. CST is:

<><>NOTE<><> any bonus stating there is a condition that
<><><><><><> starts on the ?th time just means that is when
<><><><><><> you actually get the points. All occurences
<><><><><><> before that are still counted.

*Duelist bonus (x) - equal to the exp. gained from the duel
*Same Card bonus (5) - if at any point during the duel you have 3 of the same card on the field FACE UP
*Quick finish bonus (10)- Winning in turn 2 through 5, depending on who went first (2 or 4 / 3 or 5)
*Max ATK bonus (1*x) - if you control a monster with 3000 or more ATK during the duel, this bonus is 1 point for every 1000.
*Max damage bonus (2*x) - same as above, but 2 points per 1000 (also counts for direct damage)
*All monster zone bonus (5) - having 5 monsters on your field at once
*Hand Destruction bonus (2 * x) - 2 points per card sent from the hand to the graveyard (of your opponent while the effect is controlled by you)
*Destroyed in battle bonus (1*x) -1 point for each monster destroyed as a result of battle starting with the 10th one.
*Destroyed by effect bonus (2*x) - 2 points for each card of your opponents cleared from the field by an effect you control after the 5th one.
*Slifer the Sky Dragon (20) - Summon Slifer to the field (using 3 tributes)
*The Winged Dragon of Ra (20) - Summon Ra to the field (using 3 tributes)

*No spell card bonus (5) - gained when you dont use a spell card during the duel
*No trap card bonus (5) - use no trap cards during the duel
*Spell card bonus (1*x) - 1 point for each spell card used (after I think the 10th one is activated
*Trap card bonus (1*x) - 1 point for each trap card used in the duel (after I think the 10th one is activated)
*Low deck bonus (5) - when you have 5 or less cards in the deck
*Extremely low deck bonus (10) - 1 or no cards left in deck
*Low LP bonus (5) - less than 1000 LP
*Extremely low LP bonus (50) - I think 100 or less LP (Example: special summon Ra from the graveyard and pay all but 1 LP)
*LP differential bonus (varies) - related closely to reversal bonus, and given based on how much higher your opponent's LP are as compared to your own( 2 EX: 10 pts. when 800/3100 and 16 pts when 6500/15600[Rebecca])

*Tribute summon bonus (3*x) - 3 points for each monster summoned with tributes
*No special summon bonus (5) - do not use special summons
*Reversal Bonus (5) - You still win even though your opponent has a substantial lead on you at one point. You will also recieve some value of LP differential bonus when you earn this one.
*New bonus (50) - Rewarded when you get a bonus for the first time. (Just as a note, the first duel does not give new bonus a new bonus for being a new bonus.....uh, something like that)
*No forbidden cards (5) - you arent using a forbidden/god card in your deck or side deck
*All effect damage bonus (10) - All damage must be from card effects. This means even if your opponent attacks a DEF monster and takes damage........too bad.
*Chain Bonus (2*x) - For each chain that is activated that has more than 3 links, this bonus grows 2 points for each card on the chain. Ex. In a game, a 5 link chain and a 3 link chain go off. 16 points.
*Spell Counter bonus (2*x)- after the 5th spell counter you gain, 2 points per spell counter accumulated during the game
*Removal Bonus(2*x)- 2 points for each card you remove using an effect you control (the card must belong to your opponent)
*Deck Destruction Bonus(2*x) - sending opponents cards from deck to graveyard 2 points after the 5th one
*Max Reflected Bonus (4*x) - if you reflect damage over 3000 back at your opponent, for each thousand you get 4 points (like Magic Cylinder or Reflect Bounder.
*Return to Hand Bonus (2*x) - returning your opponents cards from the field to their hand with effects YOU control nets 2 points per after the 5th one.

ones I haven't seen but have heard about are
********TURN 1 KILL BONUS(!!!) - get this, my friend didn't notice the points, but told me the gameplay situation.....summon cyberstein 1st turn, pay to have the Ozman cometh, play cathedral of nobles, set barrel behind and Ring of Destruction, GAME. He said he didn't see exactly how many points it gave him but DAMN!!!!
***Exodia (?) - just need to know the points on this one

as you can tell from the formatting I have done here, I will not post the amounts or a clear description untill I am certain that is how it comes about and how many points you get for it. Any input is appreciated. Thanks to all!

I did go ahead and move this into the Nintendo DS forum and left the move arrow in the original forum. I feel it's better suited here.

Ones that I've seen and remember off the top of my head (sorry, don't know the point value though)

*Reversal bonus (?) - I'm guessing it's when you are low on LP and still manage to win by reducing their LP
*New bonus (50) - the bonus you get when you unlock a new bonus, which usually shows up in green
*Deck destruction bonus (?) - might be your deck out bonus, or might be a different bonus, not sure
*Non-restricted bonus (5) - your deck and side deck have no restricted/limited cards
*All effect damage bonus (?) - all damage was done by effects, not battle. You don't have to win by reducing LP, but if all the damage is effect, then you get the bonus
* ? (?) - I believe at one point, I got a bonus for bouncing monsters from the field back to the hand a whole bunch of times; I only remember it because it's kind of an odd thing to reward...
*Opponent's turn victory bonus (?) - if you win and it's not your turn
*Chain bonus (6) - Not sure what happened here. I think it is winning before an entire chain resolves

Thanks somewan! Added the ones you listed, most of them I had seen, but I forgot about them! I also added the point values and criteria. Thanks a lot for the help!

*Deck Destruction bonus - probably using effects like Vampire Lord & Don Zaloog's 2nd effect
Needle Worm and Morphing Jar #2 are my current forms of deck destruction. V-Lord and Don might not go as fast...Just watch out for Tea, she runs a Penguin Knight.
That chain bonus would be tough, since you need your opponent to chain to you, since you cannot chain cards (in the game) unless your opponent chains first.

Actually you can chain to your own cards. Just hold the L button down and then it will ask you if you would like to activate anymore cards.

No flippin way...gotta try that tonight...
Was that in the instruction manual? Thought I read that thing...
Does it give you a chance to activate traps during the draw phase instead of just at the end of the end phase?

*edit: well flip my flaps. That L button thing is FANTASTIC! I like it more than the pick-which-phases-you-think-you-might-want-to-activate-and-we'll-keep-asking-you like 7 Trials. This game keeps gettin' better. Thanks for the tip!

*Same Card Bonus (5) - not a dang clue where this came from. If you touch the screen away from the duel summary, you can see the field right when the game ended. There were no duplicate cards on the field. I've had the same card out before, so I'm pretty sure that's not it. Since it is a "round" number (5), I'm guessing this isn't a bonus that increases the more "same cards" you have. Not a dang clue...But hey, a bonus is a bonus.

*Spell Counter Bonus (10) - Don't know if this is a straight 10 (nor how many you need to trigger it), or if it is 2*x (nor the minimum to trigger it), since I had 5 spell counters that game. Go silent magician lv4!

*No Cards in Deck Bonus (5) - uh, when you have no cards in your deck...which is funny, because the Extremely Low Deck bonus is (10). Well, at least when you get NCiDB, you also get the ELDB.

Also, the return to hand bonus (I think) is 2*x. Giant Trunade is another way to get it going...

I believe there is also a Draw bonus: when the game ends in a draw (like when you "save" Joey).

oh, and:

*Turn Bonus (x) - when you lose, x is the number of turns you lasted against the opponent

*Exactly 0 LP Bonus (5) - it may be 10; don't remember, but it is when you win by dropping thier LP to exactly 0 and not overshooting (duh)

and to add to your list above:

*LP differential bonus (10) - I'm guessing this is when you win by knocking out their LP in one move or action while your LP are lower than theirs; i.e. you're at 300 LP and they are at 1000 LP and you attack with Sangan to an open field.

thank you for the help somewan. And please do not take this the wrong way because you are being VERY helpful to my list, because some of these I had to sit and create situations in gameplay I normally would never encounter to confirm, but I am changing the criteria for some of these to the correct criteria. To see which ones I am referring too, see above.

Um, not sure what there was to take the wrong way, so I'm guessing everything is good...
If some of my comments are a bit off, I wouldn't be surprised. I don't write down the bonuses when I get them, so I post them when I'm online and typically doing it from memory. Since I'm still trying to "finish" the game (get everyone registered, get all the cards, and all the recipies, etc...), I'm not too focuses on the bonuses. I've just completed all 3 courses at the Duel Base, and I'm still trying to get obelix/ra.
Your list has been very handy, and I appreciate the work you've put into it. Since the KC points are the main way to buy cards, the bonuses can help add those things up.

I do have one request though...

Would you be able to sort your list in alphabetical order? I know the editor window is pretty small, so it's not a quick fix, but it would make it easier to reference stuff. If so, cool. If not, still cool. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Thanks.

Yeah, if I can get around to that, I will. But besides this list (which once I have it mostly completed I am sending to gamefaqs also) I am making a FAQ for card completion/rarity/trades. It has which cards are trade specific and who you get them from, including in game events and pack lists with rarity. I am just waiting to complete these to send it in.

That actually brings up a question: Are there any trades anyone has gotten that seem like that is the only way to get the card? Like for example, I hear the only way to get Imperial Order is to trade pegasus toon blue eyes for it. But after you beat the main game, you don't see pegasus anymore (or at least I haven't, and I have Ishisu, Odion, and Marik registered, and have completed 2 trades with Marik). If you know any of these it would really help.

Oh, and by the way, the Ra deck is best used OTK. Keep your life points high, get Ra in the graveyard somehow, then Sp. Summon him to an open field of your opponent (except Yugi.....Kuriboh really hurts OTK).....you know his ability in the game, right? Yeah, this works almost every time
