Well, its' going to be available mid November for $250 bucks. I know I'm going to try to get my hands on it. Who else can't wait to try one out or get one? here's a link: http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/14/wii-packaging-revealed-wii-sports-bundled/

Nintendo is by far the most innovative company when it comes to gaming consoles. They came up with the cool wand idea and the Wii will allow you to surf the net on your TV. No other console brings such innovation and originality....

They forgot the apostrophe in the word "console's".

Yeah, I might get one. If you've got a suggestion on where I can get two hundred fifty dollars.

The best way to get money is to work..... or you can sell your Yu-Gi-Oh cards....

One thing is weird though, the Wii is going to be released earlier in the US than in Japan. This is (as far as I know) the first time Nintendo does this with a console.

Does anybody know when it will be released in Europe?

one thing that is annoying me is the 60 bones controller with the 50 dollar games.

thats is so bad... :(

ill be buying it but im not sure when ill buy the other controller or games for that matter...

i think ill just make it my inhome virtual console.

I believe that Sony is doing the same thing with the PS3. At least I thought I read somewhere that they were. Europe gets the tail end of things like always.

The price tag on some of these things may ultimatly be the Wii's downfall. Unless Playstation and Nintendo go the greed route as well.

Wii is still by far the cheapest home system you can get at $250 packaged with a joystick and games. The X-box 360 is $600.00 comes with one joystick and no games. The Playstation 3 is $500.00 comes with one joystick and not games. The X-box and Playstation joysticks are run around $30 a piece and thier games retail at $60 a pop. The Wii games will run $50...

In the long run if you get a Wii and buy a joystick you spent $310 and you have a system that you can play with two people Simultaneously. For the X-Box 360 your going to have to spend $600 + $30 for a joystick + $60 for a game, so $690.00 before you can even turn on the system and have two people playing simultaneously. The playstation 3 is $590.00 before you can have two people playing simultaneously.

If anything Nintendo is going the affordable route, Sony and Microsoft are trying to hit the older richer crowds...
