Non-Aggression Area
Trap
You can only activate this card during your standby phase. Discard one card from your hand to the graveyard. Your opponent cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon any monsters on the next turn.
I noticed this card hadn't been reviewed before here, but I got to thinking this morning in the right deck, if your opponent couldn't get rid of it immediately, it could be the ultimate stall/field clearer.
The simplest combo would be to have a Night Assailant in your Graveyard and one in your hand. You don't lose any cards at all if you pull your other Night Assailant back, and your opponent can't summon on their next turn at all. Combine this with Forced Requisition, especially if you can activate it after using Non-Aggression Area's discard cost (I'm asking this over on the rule's forum already), and you've got a combo that gives both field and hand control.
There are plenty of other combos you can use this with, especially if you have a lot of draw power and keep getting a lot of cards you may not use in other ways, or don't help you in any other way at the time (Tribute monsters, Ritual Monsters, useless spells/traps.) I'll let you figure them out though.
I could see this being useful even in a Dark Magician deck, if playing with Dark Magician Girls. Dump your DMs and (whenever we get it) Magician of Black Chaos ritual monsters to power her up (Unless they change the name, then she'd have to be errata'd, but ya know, I wouldn't be surprised.)
It would be perfect if it was a continuous trap, but being just a regular one still gives it possibilities.
Your thoughts anyone?
