With all the beasts in the set I'm glad Konami/UDE did NOT name it "Flaming Bestiality" LOL

I know it's wrong but hey it's a "beast" set... like Legacy of Darkness was a dragon set.
PGD was zombie/gravekeeper. MFC was casters. PSV...well that was just mainly traps.
 
I haven't bought any boosters (those Ultimates make is impossible to draw that card you want).

But I bought;

1 x Silent Swordsman Lv5
1 x DDV
2 x Chiron The Mage
2 x Dark Hex
 
I bought 1 box and 3/4th of another one and was mildly pleased (although I had to buy the Sealed box after I didnt get what I wanted from the 75% one)

^^ Not bad dude! Just a Blast Magician and Gearfried and you'd have had all the good rare cards.

I actually forgot about Blast Magician!!! I did get one! I am only missing Gearfried and King Dragun to complete the set.
 
I would love to get my hands on a Dragun, but he's pretty low on my priority list at the moment. So many cards to get, so little money :(
 
I bought 4 pack and these are my pulls:

King dragun
Chiron the mage
Gatling dragon
Blast magician

Luck in rarity, not so lucky in my interests. I just want the phoenix, that's all
 
First pack of FET I pulled a Lightning Vortex. First Pack. Same day I pulled a Granmarg the Rock Monarch and a Deck Devastation Virus. I love this set.
 
Hrm i actully cant wait till this weekend i havent been able to go to where i get cards so i cant wait to buy some of the new set.

But i feel bad for ya.. Where i go they sell all packs from 2.00 to 2.50.
 
Ive pulled everything in this Set except Phoenix and Gattling Dragon.

With only 4 1/2 boxes

Its nice to have an almost complete Set without having to buy a Pack.

Since Then I stick to trading.
 
Here's a weird one. Got a box from a European vendor and pulled the following holos:

Gatling Dragon - Ultra
Blast Magician - Super
Granmarg the Rock Monarch - Super
A Feather of the Phoenix - Super
King Dragun - Super

Lightning Vortex - Ultimate
Meteor of Destruction - Ultimate <--- WTF?

Wonder how a retail Ultimate got into a hobby box. Maybe the distribution is different in the Euro boxes? Kind of a bummer, but I guess the Ultimate LV made up for it. 1st ed too.

What makes Meteor of Destruction a retail Ultimate? If the card is rare or higher, it will have a Ultimate version of it.

Hobby boxes contain Ultimate versions of Supers and Ultras, retail boxes contain Ultimate versions of regular rares.

I've never heard of a box containing one of each.

I'm not sure about europe, but in US it's the same 2 machines that print all the booster packs. (note: Starter Deck/Structure Decks are printed with a different machine, you can tell by the machine marks on the back of the cards)

Since it's the same 2 machines, mistakes happen:
e.g. the machine mis-grabs a card while printing a MFC pack, that pack only contains 8 cards as a result: when the machine switches to printing DCR packs there's one MFC card left over (because of the mis-grab) and therefore a DCR pack will contain an MFC card.

It's plausible that a Retail pack will get into a hobby box, or vice versa.
