SoI hasn't been released in my area yet, but I did get a Ruin, Queen of Oblivion off ebay that arrived today. I already put her in my Fairy Card binder. Man she is quite cool. Not sure if I'm going to bother with SoI boosters though, I've got more than enough junk cards that I'm trying to get rid of.
 
I got my Hamon...

That's the only card I really cared about pulling after trying unsuccessfully to score twice on eBay.
 
Got a box for judging, and it was the strangest box I have ever opened. First off, the package had Konami shrink wrap. Yet when I opened it it only had 22 packs inside(?)........Disappointed at that point. I had heard from other judges their boxes had 24, but no ultra....that happens sometimes. Well, mine had 15 R, 4 S, 1 U, and 2 UT....and those were strange too:

1 Cyber Laser Dragon (U)

2 Demise, King of Armageddon (S)
1 Ancient Gear Castle (S)
1 B.E.S. Covered Core (S)

2 Princess Pikeru (ULT)

and of the rares I remember......

Proto Cyber Dragon
Chainsaw Insect
Treeborn Frog
Memory Crusher
...duh.......I cared so much about what I got I forgot! Must have been real good!

I know what u mean John.
There have been tournaments that your son was present, some of the "better" duelists asked him to come over to give their decks lucky top-decks.
 
I bought 9 packs yesterday and got nothing but BS cards!! Well, I did get an End of the World in my first pack, but I got so many friggin D3S Frog and a few other cards it isn't even funny. With that said, I'm done with SoI.

So, I bought a box of Shadow of Infinity. I'm opening the last few booster packs when what did I draw but an ULTIMATE RARE CYBER LASER DRAGON! :headbang_ freakin awesome. :drool_jed

Some sets are only good if you buy a box. I bought 1 box and pulled a Hamon.

I bought 6 Special Edition Boxes and got at least one holo in each box (not counting the Variants... :haveaday_ ), as well as a Uria.
