Okay this may seem dumb.

Everyone knows Normal Monster, Effect Monsters.

I was thinking in game terms can you have a normal Fusion/Effect Fusion, And Ritual I for working out damage from cards like ceasefire and what cards like non-spellcasting are can protect. Sorry if this has been asked before but I did look and couldn't find out.

Non-Spellcasting Area protects all monsters except for effect monsters, so Fusions like "Flame Swordsman" will qualify. Fusion and Ritual monsters without effects won't qualify for damage for Ceasefire either. They will not, however (Normal Ritual) qualify for Heart of the Underdog.

It goes like this:
[Type/Fusion] - Which means Normal Fusion with no effect. Like "Master of Oz" for example. [Type/Fusion/Effect] - Which means Effect Fusion with an effect. like "Thousand-Eyes Restrict".
Fusion effect monsters COUNT in "Ceasefire".

Non-Spellcasting Area
Continuous Spell

All face-up Monster Cards on the field, except for Effect Monsters, are unaffected by any Spell Card (excluding this card).


So basically, if the monster doesn't have the word [Effect] on the card (and isn't an Orange border card since all of them are Effect monsters), it will be protected by it.

Had this one screwed up for a while myself.

Normal Monster's have no effect. But not all Non-effect Monsters are Normal Monsters.
