The tournament was really small, I believe 12-15 people entered, so it was only top 4. I played my standard Big Brotherhood Deck since I was too busy to make a new deck. Decks I smashed were a Gamma Doom (cake), Sentinels (cake), Dr.Light (Cake), Spider Firends(Close). The only deck to beat me was a a new school deck, it was close though. I screwed up my formation and he took advantage of it.
The Gamma Doom match was straight foward we got to turn 7 and he gamma bombed. Turn 8 we both drop Apoc, I KO his Latveria and Avalon space station, He tries to chain Avalon Space station I Global domination from my hand. He scoops at that point.
Spider Friends match was really close, He hits his first 3 drops and builds a decent size field before I even get started. We get to turn 8 and he drops Cosmic Spiderman and I had 6 characters on the field (Big Brotherhood swarm?). I managed to do too much damage by attacking his smaller characters that Cosmic Spidey could not do enough breakthrough.
Sentinels match was quick, He missed Mags and I hit Mags, Bastions was not enough to out boost my Avalon Lost City engine. Easy win. Oh yeah stopped 2 Genoshias....
New School match I lost because I was stupid on turn 8 I drop Apoc and thought I had the game in the bag. But stupid me I saw him grab "press the attack" with alfred a turn earlier and I forgot. He then drops Doom (8 Drop) and stuns everyone except Apoc who I but off to the left of my formation... I'm such a retard at times.
Dr. Light match was determined on who got odds, if he missed the combo on turn 4 I would win. I win the coin toss so I pick odds. Turn 1-3 go, no combo thank god. Turn 4 no combo. Turn 5 I drop scarlet witch he scoops.
2nd game he picks odds and pulls the combo on turn 5, I scoop.
3rd game I have odds and he misses the combo on turn 4. Turn 5 I drop Scarlet Witch. He wants to play it out, he does the combo and goes to negitive 3 million. I win.
