Which monsters have priority? Since the last netrep that had it published as around IOC and now we are at SOD what is the full list of cards please? :D

jep evrything with cost effects in Monsters sight is a priority. But Know you have Priority :D..

So here are some of them:

CED, Catapult Turtle, Cannon Soldier, Tribe Infecting Virus, Magical Scientist, Exiled Force and go on..

i hope you can go further with this

be carefull with prio @ breaker!

you use your prio to put the counter on breaker, you cant fire the counter away with your prio. thats important :)

Black Luster Soldier was on the last priority list ever released.

It's not "you use priority to put the counter on Breaker".

Two reasons why you can't use Breaker's effect in the response chain:
1. Breaker's summon triggers its own effect (placing the counter). If a summon triggers an effect, the triggered effect goes on the chain before any other effects can be manually activated. Therefore, the chain already started. Since Breaker is a speed-one cost effect, it can't chain to another effect. Triggered effects have priority over manually activated effects. That's why Stumble stops your opponent from using summon priority.

2. When Breaker is summoned, it has no counter. That simple. You can't activate a cost effect if you can't pay the cost.

Awesomeness.

Black Luster Soldier - EoTB most definitely can use his first effect to remove a monster as soon as he is summoned successfully to the field.

Of course his second effect takes place in the Damage Step, so he will never gain priority on that one.

Also, if he is removed from play during Main Phase 1 after he has used his effect to remove a monster from play, and is then Special Summoned by Dimension Fusion during the same Main Phase 1, his effect resets and he can either attack twice in the Battle Phase OR remove another monster from play during either Main Phase 1, or wait till Main Phase 2.

masterwoo0, i see your point but It was argued that his effect was not a cost-effect and thus did not fall under the list of monsters you can immediately activate with priority.

I don't agree with that. Look this:

Subject: Blowback Dragon & Ring of Destruction - Roulette Barrel

1. If I successfully summon Blowback Dragon and my opponent responds
with Ring of Destruction, do I have a "priority" to activate Blowback's
effect
first? Like Tribe Infecting Virus or Scientist.

2. Do I flip a coin for Blowback Dragon's effect during activation of
it's effect or during resolution?

3. The same 2 questions for "Roulette Barrel".

Answer:

I am going to assume this is Main Phase 1/2 of your own turn.

1. Yes you do.

2. Resolution.

3. Both answers are the same for "Roulette Barrel." (well, except you
roll dice of course)

Then Time Wizard, Thousand-Eyes Restrict and others with no cost effects are to be considered. It seems that just having a Trigger Effect allows you to have priority.

*****Runs to read the rulebook*****

Hmmmmmmmmmm...       D'OH!!!!!

Sorry, I'll have to re-review the rules. But I'm glad you got the Idea.

Then, these player-activated speed 1 effects should let the player have priority to activate them, even if those effects don't really have any costs.

Simply put, as far as I've been able to tell, if you summon a monster with an optional effect that can be activated immediately without having to do anything else (place a counter, wait until a later phase or your opponent's turn, etc.), you have priority to activate that monster's effect.

Cannon Soldier's, Exiled Force's, Magical Scientist's, and Tribe Infecting Virus' effects can be activated immediately because you don't have to do anything between summoning them and activating their effects. Likewise, that should also apply to BLS-EOTB's effect right after it's summoned since you don't need to do anything else.

Triggered effects do not use priority in the way you may think. If your opponent has a triggered effect and you don't, your opponent's triggered effect has priority.

Triggered effects ALWAYS have priority over player-activated effects. That's why Stumbling is a CED-priority killer. :)
