Priority

Hey i have a question. I would like to know what Priority is. It seems simple but can someone explain what Priority is an when it is applied? Also do all ignition effect monsters have priority? Thanks.

Bottomless Trap Hole could still be activated as it is in response to a sucessful summons of Paladin, but since the monster is no longer on the field, the effect would fizzle.

...wouldn't it?
If the monster wasn't there when you could finally activate Bottomless Trap Hole, you can't activate Bottomless Trap Hole.

By the way, the JERP now agrees with the American ruling. Bottomless Pit Trap is non-targeting.

Reason Im asking is if there is a situation involving other trigger effects present on the field (ie: Catapult Turtle/Cannon Soldier/etc)
Trigger effects are automatic effects. Those are manually activated speed 1 effects, also known as Ignition.

From what I gathered in Helpoemer316's article, if Catapult Turtle were face up and BEWD was summoned via Paladin, that Player A could still claim priority of a new chain block, tribute BEWD for Catapult Turtle's effect and cause BTH to fizzle once again.
That would be kara-uchi. Since Catapult Turtle hit the chain first, Bottomless Trap Hole was incorrectly activated and must be placed back face-down.

Last Q: If a face down Mystic Wok/ Ring of Destruction were present at the time of a summoned monster, could Player A use their priority to tribute that monster? (Similar to how Exiled Force activates its own effect)
It's not similar. Those cards are speed 2, so they can start the chain.
