1. While I was re-choosing my avatar I saw some problems there. In AST I saw doubles of all images. And in another YGO category I found eminem, shakira etc.

2. I use Firefox to view your site and I have a character encoding problem. The browser automatically switches to Western ISO 8859-1 but some special characters (like enum dots from UDE's site) have weird characters so I always switch manually to Unicode UTF-8, and then everything is fine.

As you can guess my problem is the manually switching all the time, for each new tab/page. I set the default for my browser to the Unicode but it always switches back. Could it be that the prolblem is by you? If not is there a way to prevent my Firefox from changing encoding automatically?

Tools > Options > Content > Fonts & Colors > Advanced
Set your default Character Encoding there.

Also might want to check the Plugins Page for anything that might make this a little easier, like Content Preferences (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4066), which can configure site-specific preferences, including character encoding (at least it says that on their webpage).

I'll take care of the avatar thing. For some reason, the avatars from the old forum carried over as seperate data, resulting in duplications of what I already had here.

Like I said I've already done that.
Also the link you gave me is unfortunatelly down - "under repair".

But thanks for trying though.

Posts? What do you mean? My problem is that my Firefox always wants to view your site with the Western encoding instead of the Unicode encoding (which you use, dont you?). So some characters like apostrphes or enumeration dots apear wrongly.

e.g.

I know you can´t specialsummon

This for example looks OK in Unicode but has a bad character in Western. Even if I switch manully to Unicode, after I press reload or the browser reloads after I post, it switches back again to Western.

By the way netrep.net loads fine with Unicode automaticaly.

What I mean is, are you seeing this at every instance of a special character/apostrophe/etc, or just sometimes? The reason I ask, is because when we moved servers, all of our special characters converted like what you show above. There are currently two Netrep articles showing on the main page. Mine and exiledforcefreak's. They were both full of instances like "can´t". I edited mine, but (unless he fixed it) you'll notice exiledforcefreak's Hydrogeddon article is it littered with characters like that. The very first line has a messed up character: "A step back "“ understanding Hydrogeddon". The dash got replaced.

Well, I didn't check the date, that's true, maybe you're right, and only the old ones are bad. The apostrophes here are all alright.

I usually only read the rulings section, and recently there are much less quotings of rulings from UDE FAQ and netrep (maybe because of the move and/or people getting smarter:D) so I didn't see such characters much anyway.

Thanks for the help.
