WC08-JP001 Deep Diver
Water/Aqua - 3/1000/1100
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, at the end of battle phase, select 1 monster card from your deck and place it on top of your deck.

WC08-JP002 Pain of the Strong
Continuous Spell Card
Each face-up monsters your opponent controls loses attack equal to it's level x 100.

WC08-JP003 Dimensional Imprisonment
Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent's monster attacks. Remove from play the attacking monster.

Deep Diver and ESPECIALLY Dimensional Imprisonment will be ABUSIVE.

I mean, REMOVE FROM PLAY the attacking monster, this thing is even more powerful then Sakuretsu Armor.

Okay, it targets so stuff like Cyber Phoenix will bypass it, but since it removes from play, this thing can take out Card Trooper/Sangan/Twin-Headed Behemoth/Vampire Lord/SPoN/etc. The only thing I won't use it will be like D.D. Survivor or something. If this thing is flooded in 3x per deck by EVERYBODY, then Sangan direct attacking won't be a threat at all.

And Deep Diver, abuse it with D-Hero Dasher and it'll be stupid powerful. (i.e. put that DMoC in top of your deck for your next draw :p ) I'll say this is like the only way to search out big monsters that Sangan can't get. (We don't have Gold S for everyone people) In Japan, they'll abuse Gors searching with this guy.

Promos are getting better, and better, and better with each passing game! I don't think we have to discuss how much Spell Striker and D-Hero Disk Commander affected the game. Exploder Dragon was nice too. ^_^

Dimensional Imprisonment is SICK. I'll buy 3 games just to have three of those! Deep Diver sounds interesting too.

Is anyone missing Pain of the Strong here? A 2200 ATK Blue-Eyes White Dragon, a 1600 ATK Cyber Dragon? This card can single-handedly give you control over the entire field. Of course, DEF isn't affected, but it'll severely put your opponent off their Attack Position Summons.

It, or a version of it, featured in the original series, in the Deck Master arc. It was used by Jinzo (DM) against Kaiba's Vorse Raider.

Hmm...actually, I can see that working for you in a lot of decks, come to think of it (espically Venom decks that utilize Venom Swamp). EVIL.

A 1500 Breaker (with the counter).
A 100-1600 Card Trooper (boost or no).
A 1800 Monarch!

Wow. That IS useful.

I can see the use of that continuous spell card, but IMO, stuff like Venom Swamp is just better. Of course, that's for just Venom decks. MOST monsters in play will be LV4. Although it will weaken then, but not outright kill the monster in a couple of turns like Venom Swamp does.

But yeah, that trap card will be SICK. It will be the outright most played trap card until they'll restricted. I smell 3x per deck of that of EVERYBODY in the top 16 like what Card Trooper was doing. (Especially now that we don't have Trap Dustshoot abuse)

(EDIT: And is it just me, or will we start sidedecking DDSurvivors again if everyone start putting 3x D Imprisonment with say 1~2x BTH. It'll be the days when 3x DDA and 1x DDWL Warrior Toolbox ran rampant.)

But of course, it takes awhile for the game to even come out.

Venom Swamp, while powerful (no doubt about that), has it's downsides. The main one being: It's strictly for Venom decks. I think Venom Decks pretty much NEED Venom Swamp, but they could probably get a kick out of Pain of the Strong as well as many other decks (Monarchs, Warrior Beatdown, Maybe Burn/Stall).
