Will this work;

Chimeratech Overdragon = Proto-Cyber Dragon + 1 or more machines
Cyber End Dragon = 3 Proto-Cyber Dragon
Cyber Twin Dragon = 2 Proto-Cyber Dragon

i see alot of cards that can get back monster that are out of play... are you sure you did not forget fusion gate? and also overload fusion could also be nice for the chimeratech overdragon. yes and also, if your planing to do big bang damage with cyber end dragon use something like power bond +des wombat (it negates the damage! :D ) and limiter removal + heavy mech support platform

You can use "Machine Duplication" and "Proto-Cyber Dragon" to Special Summon up to 2 "Cyber Dragons" from your Deck.
:S im confused didnt the machine duplication said thet the monster has to have lower than 500 atk points? so does that mean you can only use thoose 2 cards togather if you reduce your protos ATK?

Yes, it assumes Proto-Cyber Dragon has 500 ATK or less. That ruling demonstrates how the name-changing effect works.

Problem is, as veryone keeps telling me is that proto-cyber dragon's effect only works on the field. So fusions from the hand, graveyard or RFP aren't very good.

Will need cards that will keep the proto's out on te field long enough to use for fusion. :(
 
Kifo: His name being treated as Cyber Dragon is only applied on the field, but overload fusion in the grave still counts as a machine type monster for chimeratech.... (in the case of future/overload fusion combo)
