Question about Greed

I've got a question about Greed's effect. When does this effect activates? During the End Phase or when those card are drawn? I ask because I want to know if I can use this effect with the Chainsaw Insect, The Bistro Butcher etc ...

Each time a player draws cards because of a card effect, they take 500 damage during the End Phase for each card drawn by the card effect.


The card tells you when the effect activates -- End Phase.

One little piece of clarification here. You can activate (flip face-up) "Greed" at anytime outside of the Damage Step. It's effect will not activate until the End Phase. Keep in mind, in order for it to have done damage, it must have already been face-up when the player drew their cards, not afterwards.

Yeah, that was in the rulings for this card. I just wasn't sure if it would done the damage when the card was drawn during the damage step. It's more clearer now, so you can look forward to Burn deck, which one of my friends has in mind
