I dont want GUESTS reading my deck that Im playing at regionals... feel free to comment about it some more.....my deck I mean....is it perfect now??

Well when you post your Deck online you take your chances in that type of thing. Personally to me, it does not matter if someone knows my Deck or not. If they plan to make a Anti-Deck for it they will wake up to the fact every other Deck will beat theirs. You could always just edit your post after you get enough comments. Not to mention, in my opinion, knowing what is in someone's Deck does not mean you can beat the Deck.

You shouldnt have posted your deck in the first place if you didnt want people to know what you want or are going to play.

so why get bothered if guests can see it?

are you a target in a tournament scene that you dont want to be?

id understand if it were for money like, Magic or Vs. but in this case?

really yugi?? thats i dont know...

The way I see it, if people want to netdeck my creations go ahead. As long as they give me some credit I could careless if someone started using my deck. Just goes to prove that I've created something that others feel has potential, thus bringing a sense of pride I suppose. Heh, I think I'm just ranting now.

The problem is Most dont give you the credit and honestly I think Guests should have to become members to see yours and my ideas... then we can hunt them down easier when they take our deck ideas.. lol, j/k... but on a side note.. Pleas look at my deck and give me an opinion on Hammer Shot and Magic Drain for my deck pleassse...

Where is your Deck at? Yeah people who do not give credit to the person who originally created the Deck just flat out stink. I am sure people will continue to copy Decks till the end of time. Heck, I would not be surprised if someone decided to give up on making a pure Water Dragon Deck and just look at how I made my Deck and copy it.

check the new posts board its there under.. interesting deck that needs work for regionals on Dec 18th... or something like that, lol

Thanks in advance... and yeah your right... people are always net decking...I saw it this weekend in action with the RFADD decks that were exactly like the top 8 decks that one SJC

I don't think that seeing someones deck list makes that much of a difference. A good player will be able to get a general feel for another persons deck after a few games anyhow.

Besides, working out how a deck actually plays, or the Reasoning behind card synergies is not an easy thing to do even with your own deck!

lol... yeah I can def.. I agree with you on that one.. Thats why when my BF stole my deck idea and took it to regionals he went 2-5. hes a really good player but I told him he didnt understand the mechanics behind my deck like he though he did.. I play differently then him and well. It just goes to show that you can have the same deck but that doesnt mean its going to work.

I just want to add.... my BF plays this game very well and he didnt do badly because he stinks but because I think the deck he was playing.... every deck he has ever made he has done great with but then he goes to use the deck I designed without knowing exactly how it works and he does badly...

I should point out, if someone copies your deck idea, not posting it means you have no visible eveidence that you came up with the idea first. ALL decks get copied at some point. Even the bad ones. But posting them puts a time stamp on your creation an you can always refer back to that thread and it'sa date as evidence that you did it first. Not posting it, will by no means keep it a secret either. I only have to play you a couple of rounds before I now the base content of your deck. In fact, that is a basic strategy that we all play by. In my opinion, concealing your deck list from potential opponents is a faulty strategy. If anything, you should be focusing on your own personal strategy and skill level. There is where the true skill lies.

I mean, the same guys tend to win the same tournaments over and over again and they play the same decks that get posted all over the internet for months on end. Yet they still seem to pull off a top eight. Apparently, opponent's knowledge of the contents of your deck means very little. Experience is the key.
