Rainbow Neos

A Fusion Substitution takes the place of a monster, either Neos or a Rainbow Dragon, for a fusion summon as stated. (If it says "Must be conducted by the below mentioned cards", that's when only those listed monsters work).

Actually, that's why I was asking:

Elemental Hero Neos" + "Rainbow Dragon" or "Rainbow Dark Dragon"
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn, by sending 1 card of the following to the Graveyard, you can return the appropriate cards to their owner's Deck: ● 1 Monster Card you control - Return all monsters your opponent controls. ● 1 Spell or Trap Card you control - Return all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls. ● 1 card from top of your Deck - Return all cards in your opponent's Graveyard to their Deck.

I just wanted to make sure my thoughts were correct on the subject.

Which makes Rainbow Neos rather unique for a Fusion Monster. It's the first one that can't be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon and which does not allow Fusion substitutes. For some other Fusion Monsters, it's either one or the other.

but it's also because he's a meany of a card.
unless i'm wrong, i believe he swings for 4500 (or 3500, i forgets), and can clear either monsters, s/t or reset ntp's graveyard.

and as a tip to OP, in a deck i'm trying to make, you can fuse rainbow neos in 4 cards:

1. giant trunade/heavy storm (to be safe)
2. reinforcement of the army/e - emergency call => elemental hero prisma
2b. summon prisma and use its effect to reveal rainbow neos. send either rainbow dragon or dark rainbow from deck to grave.
3. e - emergency call to neos
4. polymerization

another option for 3 is (but longer.
alt 3. foolish burial => neos
alt 4. o - oversoul/swing of memories => neos
5. poly

or i guess, future fusion.

then o-oversoul/swing of memories => neos to field,
monster reincarnation the dragon to hand
and poly for 2 rainbow neosessssss
