If you attack a "Dark Crusader" with "Rainbow Veil" equipped to your attacker, does Crusader lose its ATK increases?

If "D.D. Assailant" attacks "Dark Ruler Ha Des" equipped with "Rainbow Veil," will Veil apply until Assailant is considered "destroyed as a result of battle" (however still equipped with "Rainbow Veil"), therefore allowing it to not get negated long enough to remove Ha Des from play?

What I was arguing (gathered from all the posts) was that Rainbow Veil's effect becomes active the next Battle Phase and even if it battled the same monster last turn, it's effect to negate becomes active again. I wasn't arguing that the effect carried through anything but the battle phase. My intentions were to point out that a monster equipped with Rainbow Veil would negate the effects of a monster it battled with the previous Battle Phase if it battled the same monster again. I never said that Rainbow Veil's effect carried past any point but the Battle Phase. It seemed that the beginning of the arguement was whether the effect of negation occurred the next time the two monsters battled again.

What I think you were saying, was that if you attacked "Satellite Cannon" with a "Rainbow Veil-equipped" monster, that no matter what monster "Satellite Cannon" attacked on it's owner's turn, it would lose its ATK gain.

No, I was stating that if the monster equipped with Rainbow Veil battled with Satellite Cannon AGAIN, it would lose it's ATK gain. The ATK gain reapplies at the end of the battle phase if Satellite Cannon survived the attack. However, if another monster attacked Satellite Cannon during the same battle phase after it battled the monster equipped with Rainbow Veil, Satellite Cannon's effect would still be negated during that same Battle Phase, provided that Rainbow Veil was still on the field.

I think we were all misunderstanding each other. Suffice it to say, I think we're all in agreement that Rainbow Veil only initiates during battle, and terminates when the current Battle Phase ends.
