I was looking though my folder and I saw my Pyramid of Lights and I thought, "Hmm does Pyramid of Light still have its Promo Rarity cause it isn't a shiny with shiny writing"??? Then My mate asked me if he could trade me something for pyramid of light??? And I said Yeah but what for??? And he said anything but at long as it is a common cause it isn't shiny so it doesn't get its promo power unlike all the other promos.

And I said, "Maybe. I'll look into your statement".

So Does Pyramid of Light still have its Promo Power even with it out being shiny??? Cause I have 7 and it annoys me if it doesn't have its promo power like all the others.

Anyway seeya.

I definitely wouldnt trade much for it. Especially if someone was trying to get a Super Rare or higher for it.

I mean, I wouldnt even trade a DB2 Cyber-Stein for it, and would probably have to think twice about trading a Smashing Ground for it.

out of all the movie promos and exclusive pack romos, i'd have to say Pyramid of Light is one of the more useless ones. i wouldn't trade any higher rarity cards for it, and i'd only trade a common of similar value....but that's just my opinion

well sometimes it not all about wealth, and instead so maybe scout around and see what the price is rather the rarity, for example many people are willing to Cyber Dragons for cards higher than their rarity, because of their effectivness or rarity in terms of print or price. a classic example aside from cyber is dda

but yeha in terms of worth Pyramid of Light isnt worth a whole lot

If I may say one thing... The worth of a card is immediately determined by the want or "need" of the card, and also its availability.

Smashing Ground was a simple Short Print when it came out in summer of 2004. You could have probably picked it up off eBay for less than a dollar, and MAYBE even get 3 for under a dollar if you were lucky.

Once it got hot, it was going for over 10.00 dollars for just one. So, even if a card is not shiny or immediately the "latest thing", it can still have an intrinsic value in the future.

Pyramid of Light is attached to 3 monsters, in and of itself, that are pretty horrible. There is no other use for Pyramid of Light other than making a easy summon for those monsters.

Purely collector valued, and will likely never see competitive play, which decreases its value even more. It's not like getting a World Promo that you can never play in Yugioh. The card, for lack of a better word, sucks.
