Without them Laying the Groundwork with the Van Zombie build I may not have even considered this.

I figured if it can be done with Zombies, then why not Plants? Then set about modifiying my plant builds to take it and arrived at this conclusion. Enjoy!

I remember facing this deck early last month, it wasn't bad. At the very least, the build made me realize Van'Dalgyon can go in just about any deck and make it viable.
 
Amusing I run into this now, I played plants back in SJC Columbus and Van'dalgyon was in my side deck. Divine Wrath is just beastly, and Hero's Rule 2 as well, in its own right. There's definitely some speed problems for the current format with this build, here, but it's good.
