Regionals Deck

The regionals I was originally asking for help with is over, but There's another one coming up, so I thought I'd update the deck, and see if I get any fresh new ideas.
Sidenote- I finally got Solemn Judgement for the side deck. YAY!

The idea: Reusable monsters (Though, now I'm down to two of each :icon_cry: , but it works better) clear the field, spells and traps protect them. A little Deck thinning (but all the thinners provide necessary field presence) always helps too. I'm not trying to stall my opponent out. I NEED Gravity/Messenger/ LLAB!

The orignal deck I posted here had trouble with field presence. I think some of the changes helped though.

Please Rate/Fix. Any help would be appreciated.

Just PM a mod. I believe chaosruler is on right now (*points to sig*) so go to "who's online" and click chaosruler. Once at his profile, click "send a private message to chaosruler" then tell him what happened.

+1 Solemn Judgment
(Maybe even take another one of your traps for another Solemn Judgment)

Although Solemn Judgment may be a heafty amount of lp's to pay :)eek:), BUT, it very versitile (did i spell that right?) it not only can stop a summon, but a trap or spell that could be pivital to your opponent winning the game. I just see more use in Solemn Judgement than Horn of Heaven.

And also since your playing 2 Level Limit-Area B's, i see that this deck could greatly abuse the abilities of Dream Clown and Crass Clown. Nasty... just nasty. lol :D
 
I decided it'd be best just to merge the two threads, then I removed the 2nd deck post. So you still have all the suggestions. ;) And I edited the initial deck post to enable the wonderful auto-linking system we have here.

nkaruntilaka: If I can get a hold of a Solemn or two, that sounds like a great idea. I'll definitely see if I can work in a Dream Clown again, though I'll probably leave out Crass just because it's level 4. Any ideas as to what I might take out for Dream Clown?

I know the Counter Traps look weird, but they're my personal tech, and have actually worked very well. In this deck.
The idea: Reusable monsters clear the field, spells and traps protect them. A little Deck thinning always helps too.

I've been working on this deck since well before the latest ban, but I need it in top form for Saturday.

Let's start with the traps.

Divine Wrath and Horn of Heaven don't really seem necessary here, take out Horn of Heaven for one Bottomless Trap Hole, if you need to get rid of stuff like that Divine Wrath has really lost it's power now, it's a side deck card if you ever run into anything really big. Divine Wrath out for another Dust Tornado. 2 is a good number of those. :)

Now the spells.

I do know why you aren't running a Heavy Storm and a Giant Trunade instead of it, but a Heavy Storm really does benefit any deck, they will be using one, so your spells and traps WILL get destroyed eventually.

And the monsters. I don't think you should main deck the Kinetic Soldiers, but side deck them, even if you go against a warrior deck, your opponent shouldn't be attacking and neither should you. So I say take those out for 2 Newdoria's, they help in monster removal and if your opponent ever gets to attack, they'll be surprised. ;)

Edit : I'm not so sure about the deck thinning, you should probably take out the Giant Germs and Magical Merchant for Dream Clown and 2 Spirit Reapers, then something else as you see fit. Stalling will make you draw quite a few cards, combined with Des Lacooda's stalling will lead to your own deck-out. So yeah. ;)
 
I will take out Horn of Heaven and side Divine Wrath (just because I've found it to work well. I might just take it ount entirely though.) I'll add the Dust Tornado, but I don't see the point to Bottomless Trap Hole. Anything over 1500 atk won't be able to attack anyway. I'll try a Heavy Storm, but if I have any of my stall cards out, it's kind of a dead draw, isn't it? I'll see if I can work it in though. I plan on attacking (like a lot of people) so as of now, I'm unsure about any lv 4's, including Newdoria. I'll give it a try though. Also, since Magical Merchant really helps with getting one of my stall cards, do you have any idea what I could use to search/draw/pick-up one instead?
 
I tried to make the fixes complex mind suggested, but apparently I only have 1 Newdoria and 1 Dream Clown. Any suggestions as to how I should fill those last two monster slots?

Also, if I can get one or two before the regionals, any suggestions for how to make room for the solemn judgement?

Okay, I tried some of the changes. I liked the Spirit Reapers. The Newdoria didn't do me much good if I had Gravity Bind or LL-AB out, so I usually wound up relying on my opponent to attack it, so I took it out. Dream Clown was just a little slower than I wanted. But the rest was good (Still trying for that Solemn Judgement. It looks like it'll work real well).Any more ideas would be helpful.

Also, I was thinking that if I can get them, I might take out the Giant Germs and Magical Merchant for 3 Stealth Bird's and another Swarm of Locusts. Whatdya think?
 
I was actually thinking of putting in a pot for a while now, but I CAN'T GET ONE! I have a couple of friends who share collections, and they have I don't know how many PoA's between them, and they won't let me have/trade for one. They've got more than they need. How long do I have to wait before they make a common version? Do you know if there'll be one in the new Magician's Structure deck (Whatever it's called)?
