Same basic idea as the Iphone or Itouch Ipods. But nonetheless, amazing stuff. If I could afford one, I would have one for sure.

I was really surprised to see they only cost $5,000 to $10,000 dollars. While that is certainly out the realm of the public consumer, that's considerably lower then I expected. I was thinking they'd be in millions. This means that we really will see them in stores and casinos within the next coming couple of years. The reason I found this video, is because Disney Imagineers are looking at it for possible utilization in the parks. How cool would it be to eat at a restaurant that used these things?

that would be downright amazing. I could actually see casinos using them within the next year or so.....wouldn't that be awesome. Maybe they could make a craps table that could read the dice when they settled and light the board on all affected spots.....wow. That would be amazing. That's even one step further though. I say 5 years max.

EDIT: When I was last in vegas, they had something really cool at Harah's that kind of used this responsive technology, but what was even cooler was it was a projected image on the floor. You could step on parts where the projection was on and the picture would ripple, and one image it showed was of water with fish in it. When you stepped near the fish, they would scatter out. Really neat stuff.
