Resolution of Continuous Spell/Trap cards vs. Field Spells

I know if you have multiple continuous spell/trap cards active on the field, they are resolved in the order in which they are played (So if player A has [Level Limit - Area B] active on his side of the field and then a couple of turns later player B activates [Final Attack Orders], any new monster summoned face up would be switched to defense position (if Level 4 or higher) and then switched to attach position).

Are field spells handled the same way or are they resolved first since they "change" the qualities of the field and then the continuous spell/trap cards resolve in the order in which they are played?

I tink in this case, the most recent cards effect would be active and if Final Attack was destroyed, then all monsters would go back to defense.

That wasn't quite what I meant and I was just using that as an example.

Specifically, do field spells get resolved first before any other continuous spell/trap cards or is everything resolved in the order in which they are played?

Since Continuous Spell Cards are Spell Speed 1, you cannot chain another Spell Speed 1 Spell Card to another ones activation, so they would resolve separately.

Normal and Continuous Traps are Spell Speed 2, so they would resolve in a chain if played together with Normal Spells, or Trap Cards.

A Continuous Card already active on the field will resolve first before the next effect will resolve, I believe.
