Return from the Different Dimension & Interdimensional Matter Transporter

Am I understanding Return from the Different Dimension 's text correctly? "Special Summon as many of your monsters as possible..." meaning that if I have zero monster on the field, and I have 5 or more monsters removed from play, that I -must- Special Summon 5 of them to the field, or is it an optional amount?

Can I activate Interdimensional Matter Transporter to try to keep them in play before the part about "During the End Phase, remove from play all monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect." resolves? That is, can I bring back a monster, the activate IMT on it, so when the End Phase occurs, it will come back to play -after- RFTDD resolves?

Does Interdimensional Matter Transporter reset the effect of Goblin Attack Force, and similar cards? That is, if GAF attacks, and is switched to Defense when the Battle phase ends, and IMT is activated on GAF in the following Main Phase 2, can the opponent of player controlling GAF use Change of Heart on GAF and switch it to Attack mode on the following turn? Or does "until the end of your next turn." still apply?

Thanks in advance!

The effect would be reset just as if he were placed in defense position voluntarily. You could return him to attack on your next turn.

That is correct. If you had 10 monsters removed from play, you would decide which 4 monsters to special summon and the rest would remain removed from play.

I think what he's asking (and I'm curious to know as well) is if I wAnted to summon 3 of the removed from play monsters instead of 4, is that possible? Or must I summon 4 if I have 4 empty monster zones..

You must summon as many as possible, so if you have 4 available slots and 4 or more monsters removed from play, then you must summon 4 monsters to fill the available slots.

The situation as you described it, your Interdimensional Matter Transporter would reset Goblin Attack Force lifting the condtion placed on it.

If your opponent were to activate Change of Heart during the the opponent's following turn, he/she may attack with it.

Just to clarify Question #1:

Let's say you have a Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning face-up on the field. You also have out of play Dark Ruler Ha Des, Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke, Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer (x2), and Jinzo. When you activate Return from the Different Dimension, you choose any 4 of those and Special Summon them to the field. That's what the effect means by, "as many...as possible."

You choose when the effect of Return from the Different Dimension resolves, who is Special Summoned.

This contradict the ruling for the Spirit monsters vs. Interdimensional Matter Transporter:

If a Spirit Monster is returned to the field with "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" the same turn it was Summoned or flipped face-up, it returns to the field and then returns to the owner's hand

Apparently the effects are not rested for the Spirit Monsters, then why the effect is rested for all other monsters?

How does that contradict? It must return to hand at the End Phase of the turn regardless, since it will always be considered face-up when it is returned to the field. "Face-up" is not an effect to reset.

This is the text of Inaba White Rabbit:

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or flipped face-up. This monster attacks your opponent's Life Points directly

Apparently Spirit Monsters does not return to the hand at the end of the turn but during the End Phase.
