Reversal Quiz combo?

Does the combo with reversal quiz and black pendant actually work? For some reason I'm thinking black pendant's effect is instant, like when you destroy Convulsion of Nature by reversal quiz and the decks are flipped back right away.

Or do RQ and black pendant really cause a chain like people have been saying? I'm building a RQ deck with some 6 samurai in it, but I don't want to be using it if it doesn't actually work.

"¢ You can chain to the activation of the effect of "Black Pendant" when it is sent to the Graveyard.


That's what you need to know. The effect of Black Pendant uses the Chain, so it will activate and form a new Chain after Reversal Quiz has resolved. Compare with Sangan if you like.

Thank you. I used the deck against my friend the other day. Everyone was like "what the heck is this deck? you just payed 7000 lifepoints for wall of revealing light?? LOL... now where's my mst..."

Was quite fun when I got out big eye and he really had no idea what was going on.

i have a friend who uses a RQ with Reasoning and high level monsters.....and to top that,he uses Fhuma Shuriken along with Black Pendant.

Theres is another card that lowers LP? ancient gear tank, i think...but that one could not be used with RQ,right??

CONVOLTION OF NATURE FLIP THE DECK DRAIN LP DOWN TO A LITTLE OF NOTHING THEN SET ONE OR MORE OF THES B PANDENT,Fuhma Shuriken AND ACTAVATE RQ. WHEN THE PENDENT OR THE SHURIKEN ARE DESTROYED THEY MAKE A CHAIN LAST COES 1 PQ SWITCH LP AND BANG BOWN GOES FRASER. OMG I LOVE COMBO DECKS. SORRY 4 THE MISSPELLING EVERY 1")

You forget 1 small detail. You still need to guess the card correctly with Reversal Quiz and when you play Reversal Quiz, Convulsion of Nature leaves the field, flipping the decks back to their normal position (good luck guessing that 1 in 3 chance).

Ok... and?

You're really not adding anything new to what the RQ Combo entails and how to best use it (not to mention Magic Drain will ruin your day).

That said, this thread isn't a discussion about the deck type. It was a question about the mechanics of the card which was asked and answered. If you want to discuss the theme, start a new thread under General Discussion (YGO). Thanks.
