Okay, here's da scoop: surprisely, hubby said yes to trading his other DMoC. I bought two before I realized that it was restricted to one.

Okay, now, on to the nitty gritty: the prices for Breaker and DMoC are fluctuating like mad on eBay. Last week Breaker was running around 35$ on eBay and DMoC running around 35$ (that's what I paid for our two in December). I think a swap of Breaker for DMoC is fair, no?

I find that the trade is too one sided do you have any of my other wants or make a better offer. I find Breaker and DMOC do not equal in value and Ebay is flucuating right now so prices aren't right certain Breaker has more plability than DMOC bieing a CC Tier 1 card.

I had another offer posted here, but after talking to my husband we decided that we will just buy Breaker instead. He wants him ASAP and trade offers back and forth are just taking too long :)

my friend traded Sphynx Thelia for braker, dmg, and skilled dark.

sometimes its not just the playability is how much value you give it.

i know breaker is kool you guys, im looking for one my self, but compare both cards.

seriously, no monetary value, just plain out rarity + effect + playability.

thats what i was trying to go for when i was looking for some knights and stuff.

hey roan do you have a list of other stuff you havent posted? cause i would be interested to trade off the gilfer, ring, and LOn DarkNecrofear.

When two cards are being traded and the base prices are fluctuating like mad on eBay -- and it usually does lean more towards Breaker being worth more -- then something really needs to be a deciding factor. Obviously we chose playability and the fact that Breaker, on average, does go for more. DMoC was going for the same at Christmas. No longer. He's 10$ less now. I suspect it will stay that way because Breaker is more in demand.

Argh, yah, I just haven't had time to gather everything. I did get another Necrofear and I'm waiting for someone to get back to me on a ring.

I need another one, but my want for the Gilfer will have to wait for now.

the facts on DMOC are the following.

Removes monsters from play, Gets you a spell card, is easy to summon (painfull choise/preamture/call etc..)

Breaker.

1900 > 1600 and only destroyes 1 spell, trap only get the counter when normal not specialed.

played alot because it only destroyes 1 spell or trap, and the fact that it was very easy to get during DCR. I know this one guy with like 10 of these in a folder.

DMOC is a bit harder to come by. Ive only seen a few and the few i have seen are way to expensive for my taste. It was mostly big before it got restricted to 1 because of its OTK.

overall their both great cards, breaker is prolly only worth 1-2 cards more.

but guess what card is wanted more than breaker, Reflect bounder :D lol

i think bounder is like super expensive i saw it at this one store for 50 bones. i was like woah!

Yep, I bought two of them and that's why the price dropped so much. Which gets back to my additional offer for Breaker. If he doesn't want to trade, that's fine. I'll just buy one off eBay instead. No skin off my knuckles there :)

It's not how many cards you offer, it's *what* cards you offer. Seriously. I offered my Equata because it plus DMoC equal the going price for Breaker. Don't see what's wrong with that? I threw in the extra cards cause I do that most of the time, anyhow :)

Heh, one of my favorite sellers on eBay has a DCR-012 Bounder as "Buy It Now" for 22.95 and 2.99 shipping. Auction ends in 4 days. Hrm, just might grab it. Gotta watch them off-line retail stores. They soak you for an arm and a leg a lot of the time.

Okay, problem is that I don't want to ship outside the USA. I'm sorry about that, but the cost to ship with insurance et al is rather prohibitive. Also, it's a rather expensive and high want card to ship that far for a first time trade. I know I only have 1 trader rating, but you don't have any right now.

I just don't feel comfortable with this. I hope you understand. If you make a few smaller trades with someone else here, repost and I'll reconsider.

I dont think I'll be trading Breaker cause I just got 2 DMOC yesterday ^^ Unless you can offer something else of my wantsl ist such as DDA for instance ..
