I think maybe Stone Statue of the Aztecs, in case of airknights or Mine Golems? They dont seem to bad. BUt all in all I like the rock monster spirit Maharagi, whenever flipped face up or summoned u can in ur next turn look at the top card during ur draw phase, if u dont want it then you can put it on the bottom and draw the next card. Rock decks just need more stuff that works

Yeah! Don't CC his deck! :p
I mean, seriously, he's trying to kick some ass witt his rock themed deck. And I think he can without CC.
This is the first time I gave some advice on a deck, so I hope it helps you.
There are quite some cards that are rock based and work well with Megarock Dragon. Rock Bombardment will help you fill up your graveyard and will thin out your deck. Check out Lost Guardian, he will give your deck a little more stall, I think you'll need it. You could also use Legendary Jujitsu Master. It will give your deck some stall and well... he's got some nasty effect!
Gigantes can give you some more power and if you're not after his monsters, you could kill his traps :)
I don't know if 3 Morphing Jars #2 is too much. You can't get Megarock Dragon back when he hits the graveyard, I guess you don't want that to happen, but it's up to you to figure out how many Morphing Jar #2s you want.
Blockman can give you something to tribute which is nice I guess, especially with Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane.

I really like rock, my brother used to run a very annoying deck with Legendary Jujitsu Master, Gigantes and The Rock Spirit. It's just hard to destroy these guys.

I hope I helped you a bit on your way. Good luck

You can run also 1 Gigantes. Yes it takes away a Rock monster but when Gigantes dies, it replaces the monster you just removed.

Yeah, you need better rock monsters if your gunna make a Megarock deck.

Enraged Muka Muka with Giant Rat is a great combination. Keep in mind that Last Will can special summon Enraged Muka Muka as well.

Might I suggest that if you play two copies of Guardian Sphinx that you give The Grave of Enkindling a chance for a couple of matche? I have a rock deck as well in which I play 3 copies of Guardian Sphinx, an Enraged Muka Muka, 2 copies of Megarock, and 2 copies of The Grave of Enkindling. it's worked quite nicesly so far.

I've always believed Golem Sentry to be a terribly under-rated card. <s>

All of your advice is quite good. I will playtest this.

Thank you for your time. If anyone else thinks of anything else, please do not hesitate to say anything.

Where does it says that you want to keep it themed? You said you needed quick fixes, I gave you. It's up to you, to use it or not, but at least you could say "thx, but I don't want a CC, I want it themed", instead of asking why I'm CC'ing your deck...

But besides that, you know that nowadays, with 2 Nobleman of Crossout and 2 Magician of Faith, yours Guardian Sphinx won't stay long on the game, don't you?

not really ya know. Your opponent still needs to have those card in the hand to play them. Dont assume flips are worthless because of two NoCs.

Well, I'm thinking about good players, that keep the NoC in hand untill needed, I'm not talking about players that as soon as they see a face down monster, BANG!, Nobleman on it.
Like, as an example, my oponent as a face down monster, and 1 or 2 face down traps/spells, I have a NoC in hand, I play a card or just pass, on his next turn he tributes the face down, and places a new monster face down. Now, like this, I'll use the NoC, because for sure, that new monster is nastier than the previous one...or if I don't have a NoC, as soon as he makes the flip summon of the Sphinx and the effect triggers, I will pray to get a NoC on my next draw.
And with 2 Nobleman of Crossout and 2 Magician of Faith, I'm remembering that some time ago, with these 2 cards, with a number of 2 per deck, face down monsters weren't so much used.

Ther are still ways for equally as good players to bait the Noblen players. It's an interesting dance that gets done sometimes. I won't count Flip Effects out of this meta for the sheer fact that these are just two more cards you can make your opponent burn if playd right.

Hey Sam.

I think a Gigantes would work decently in here. If a -1 is too much for your Megarock Dragon. Megarock Dragon takes too much of your graveyard resource.

If you use Megarock Dragon a lot. Earth Art would lose some power. So be sure to not remove EVERYTHING but enough to make Megarock a formidable foe.

And as I always like to say.

If you're not going to win from it, and you have to overextend to do it. Don't.

That's basically all the advice I really have for the main deck.

As for the side deck. I really don't think you'll ever need to side in the third Sand Moth, especially since it's power sort of decreased this format, and really not many people are running MSLV2. And I don't really think you'd side in the Dummy Golem either.

I'd -probably- side (maybe even main) 2 My Body as a Shield in their place. Helps nicely against those defense killers, especially Nobleman of Crossout. And also, it defends against the growing popularity of Zaborg the Thunder Monarch. Or at least I think it does. The ruling doesn't quite state it. But either way. It keeps those monsters even safer while they are face down. :)

And do you happen to be the Sam I'm thinking of? This is Dustin. ;)

No, it's the OTHER Sam that goes to Cyberzone.
