Wow..very interesting. Can you post the text of the "Rampart Gunner" please, for those of us who haven't memorized all of the upcoming EEN cards?

I like the speed you've implemented into this deck. Rampart Gunner looks like a fun card to play with. Question though: Will the effect of Rampart Gunner halve the current attack, or only the original attack? In other words, I see you're playing Fusion Weapon. Is it...
2000 + 1500 = 3500 / 2 = 1750 direct, or
2000 / 2 = 1000 + 1500 = 2500 direct

Looks fun. Can't wait for EEN.
 
Well I have this deck made, I am using my japanese Ramprat Gunner's until EEN. But I don't know about the question, its a good one. But I have had plenty of speed with the deck so far without the Reinforcements. I will defenetily take out Confiscation for Miracle Fusion though.


How I et my burst and clay out so easily is a werid combo, but usually first turn I do either 1 of the 2 combo's

Scenario 1:

Hand = 1x Thunder Dragon, 1x bottomless, 1x Terraforming, 1x Apprentice Magician, 1x Fusion Weapon.

I use thunder's effect, play Terraforming, get Fusion Gate, play it then get twin to the field, set Bottomless Trap Hole, and the pain comes =p, kinda overplay sometimes on the first hand though.

Scenario 2:

Hand = 1x Toon Table of Contents, 1x Fusion Gate, 2x Last Will, 1x Fairy of the Spring, 1x Level Limit Area - B.

I use Toon Table of Contents 3 times to get my Toon Cannon Soldier to the field, then I acitivate 2x Last Will, sac cannon summon burst and clay to the field then play Fusion Gate, and get rampart, play fairy and get Fusion Weapon and end.
Again kinda overplay on the first hand but it works for me 80% of the time.

I guess it will be the original ATK which is halved. As far as I can see, in the most cases the effect of monsters will go first before the effect of their equipment. Needless to say, it is better to wait for the rulings. Or can someone get the (translated) Japanese rulings?

If someone could translate the rulings that would be great. But until then when I duel I am going with original attack =(.

Uuumm...you do know that Fairy of the Spring pulls an equip from your graveyard, not your deck. That first turn play is quite impossible. Sorry.

Anyway, if you ARE going to be making crazy mad first turn plays like that and "Scenario 1" (you sound like a brigadeer general...), how about something to protect your fusions. Like My Body as a Shield, Solemn Judgements, Ready for Intercepting (hey, Rampart Gunner IS a Warrior...), etc. I've never really liked equip cards...but, it seems to me that a United and a Command Knight(consider those too, please) on the field would be more profitable on a Gunner than an equipped Fusion Weapon.
