now throw Waboku in the mix!!!!

Waboku prevents your own monster from being destroyed as a result of battle, its jsut really bad text on Waboku's text, it might make sense in Japan, it might not, but we can not look too much into the card texts as they are written to "sound cool" in japan, and Konami wants the texts to be translated as close as possible in the TCG.

Read the text in the rulebook, If both monster have equal attack, both monsters are destroyed. 0 = 0 right?

Keep in mind that Zero is a whole number, but not a natural number, and so sometimes 0 is treated as a whole number; the same as any other number (e.g. Thunder Dragon, Penguin Soldier) and sometime its treated as nothing (e.g. Spirit Reaper needs a Natural amount of Damage to be done)

Couldn't have explained it better myself.

I think the whole issue with 0LP damage not being a successful attack against an opponent's lifepoints is that it has achieved nothing since no damage was done, if it achieved nothing how was it successful?
An unsuccessful attack usually means where the attack was negated due to the monster being rendered unable to follow through with the attack, as this means that the attack declaration achieved nothing. When two monsters of 0 ATK clash they can at least destroy one another and so something comes out of the action.
That's just my view on it.

when a monster has 0 atk, i toght it can not attack.

it's the same with Mucus Yolk, it can not atk unless it's atk is boosted.

or am i wrong

It's a common misconception I'm afraid. A monster with 0 attack certainly MAY attack, it's most often not a very wise idea but they CAN if they wish. I've often seen Ojama Tokens suicided into a monster just to clear space out for another monster.

Notice the card text for Mucus Yolk says, "This card may attack your opponent's Life Points directly." This means it's an option. Of course you can't attack someone's life points directly and inflict damage if the atk is 0.
