Shein's Spy + Immortal of Thunder

I think I know the answer here, but I just wanna be sure and you guys here are pretty smart...

Say I summon Immortal of Thunder, switch control of it to my opponent with Shein's spy...then after that resolves I activate Ring of Destruction, my opponent does nothing, and then I chain Barrel Behind the Door to Switch the Damamge from Ring, will my opponent take the 1500 from his part of ring, another 1500 from my part of ring, and then the 5000 from immortal or since it when to my grave would I take the 5000 from Immortal.

How would this play out?

thats what I thought...thanks for the reply...just to take it a step further, as unlikely as it may be, if I had End of Anubis on the field, would he negate the lose of lifepoints effect of Immortal of Thunder?

Unfortunately, if I'm not mistaken, you would still take the 5000 damage when he is sent from the field to the Graveyard, regardless of whose side of the field he was on to begin with.

But you are correct about the "Ring"/"Barrel" combo, your opponent would take a total of 3000 damage.
