Side Deck: Divine Wrath or Solemn Judgement?

I am trying to build my side deck to counter anything I could come across. Kinetic Soldier for warriors, Des Wombat for burn, etc. But now I come to a quandry. Which do you think would be the better choice against Monarchs? Divine Wrath or Solemn Judgment? I know both have their plusses and minuses...

Solemn does more than keep monsters off the field and it can ALWAYS be paid for...

...and Divine prevents almost all monster effects, but tends to lead to loss of hand advatage.

And I can't put both in as I have an almost complete side deck. So, if it was your choice and getting ready for regionals, which would you choose and why?

Personally, I am fond of mask of restrict vs monarch decks, as it just shuts down the concept of the deck.

As to solemn judgement vs divine wrath, I find that it is just a matter of personal choice. I find that if you are going to run SJ, then it is probably better played main deck, and always in threes. DW however, perhaps just tech in one or two as needed. It can provide a nasty suprise to those not expecting it.

What sort of deck are you running? Can you fit SJ into your maindeck?
 
I would use 2 copies of Divine Wrath. Look at it this way, if you are running Night Assailant and Treeborn Frog you could all ways send these cards to the grave.
 
I'm running a weird type deck. I'm already at 43 cards and I have to trim some stuff as it is. The decks tribute monsters are:

1 x Zaborg
1 x Kaiser Glider
1 x Dark Ruler

No one expects Dark Ruler or Kaiser Glider. Fun card to take on Monarchs, Jinzo, Vanity's Fiend, Chainsaw, etc.

The side deck is:

2 x Kinetic Soldiers
2 x Waboku
2 x CED
1 x Mobius
1 x Vanity's Fiend
1 x Jinzo
2 x Des Wombats
2 x Return from a DD
2 x .....

The deck works quite well and I have lost about 3 games out of 50. Just trying to figure out Divine Wrath/Solemn Judgement as I KNOW a lot of people will be playing Monarchs.
 
I tried Kaiser Glider before, it doesn't work as well as you'd hope. Try Mobius the Frost Monarch instead or another Dark Ruler Ha Des.
 
Kaiser Glider and Mobius come and go from my side deck to my main deck all the time. And true, it's a nice idea, but I can't always seem to make it work. Though his secondary effect is nice too. :)
 
well if u can't pick one or the other u could drop the waboku since cyber-stein got banned and run both solemn judgement and divine wrath
