Silverlight Spellcaster Deck! n.n

Okieday! I know added my Side Deck and made a few changes to the deck as well. DMG still on the way! More suggestions please??? ;_; Tournament on Sunday! I really want to have a chance! XD

Let's see... I've been meaning to make a few suggestions on here, soo...

1st we gotta increase the Kycoo's to 2- Helps kill off PoA. In doing so, you could drop the main-decked Kuriboh. Next up, I would switch out the twin Royal Libraries for a pair of Gravekeeper's Spies- Helps with speed, granted you lost an extra draw, but a extra special summon makes up for it. Magician's Valkyria is something you gotta run in 2's to get full abuse of her effect... So I would drop a Gemini for her. Man-eater Bug, gotta replace him with Old Vindictive... just seems to fit the deck theme better. :p Just a personal preference of mine, I would drop the last 2 Gemini for a pair of main-decked Apprentice Magicians- Just helps with the speed even more.
Let's see for the spells and traps. I would drop Reload for a Pot of Avarice- Helps re-abuse Apprentice, etc. I would also drop Mage Power and Double Spell for a pair of Enemy Controllers- Or you could go with 3 Fissures/Smashings, your preference there. And to thin the deck a bit, I would drop the 7 Tools, and triple Waboku- I've found that the 6 remaining traps work wonders together.
I won't suggest anything for the sideboard, since they are normally for your local meta, IMHO.

Hope some of this helps...

EDIT-- Just saw one thing, if you follow any of my monster suggestions you need to move Sangan from the sideboard to the main deck.

Okieday! I shall try those fixes out once I get the few cards you suggested! n.n

Cards I need to get:

1 Kycoo
2 Gravekeeper's Spy
1 Magician's Valkyria
2 Old Vindictive Magician
1 Pot of Avarice
2 Enemy Controller?
2 Fissure?
3 Smashing Ground?

Thankies for the fixes! n.n

You could go for the Enemy Controllers, if you like how they play-- Some players like them, others don't. If you don't like them, I would go with 3 Smashing Ground (-1 Fissure, Mage and Double), however, Fissures are a bit easier to get.

Okie! Small update but this one helps me lots! n.n

I removed the 2 Royal Magical Library and instead, I put in another Magician's Valkyria (finally got another one so now I have 2) and I decided to try Cost Down since it makes my DMG a no tribute and my DMs a one tribute. It also would help me against Gravity Bind decks. Any objections to Cost Down?

Oh and one more edit. I took out Double Spell and Mage Power for 2 more Fissure. I'll update my Side Deck to still have Double Spell and Mage Power. More updates later! n.n

Side Deck updated. Removed Nightmare's Steel Cage and Spell Shield Type 8 in exchange for the Mage Power and Double Spell that were removed from my deck.

Okie! More changes were made! This time the major change was Creature Swap being replaced by Brain Control.

Result of today's tourney: Didn't make it to top 8.

Wins: 1
Losses: 2

Well, oddly enough I lost to a Fairy Control Deck and a Warrior Beatdown. Interestingly enough, I absolutely owned a normal all out Beatdown deck XD. Kinda wondering how that works but okay! Didn't do that badly I guess.

Also, a question. Is Injection Fairy Lily something I should put in this deck or no? I was considering it, so let me know pplz! n.n

lily?? HECK YES!! that things crazy with magicians circle, magical dimension or last will...im not sure what ur deck is so ill have to take a look at what you should take out for it...but by all means go ahead and put it in since ur running pure spellcaster...

Anything that lets you summon something from your deck is a good idea, esp. when it's manditory. The only downside is that your opponent get's to summon something also. This may or may not be an issue depending on if your opponent is running just the staple Spellcasters (Breaker / Magician of Faith) or has a little more support in their decks (Apprentice Magician / Old Vindictive Magician). However, in a dedicated Spellcaster deck, it will be in your advantage more times than not. Currently they're selling on average at about $10 each on eBay (your miledge may vary).

Btw, Cost Down? Ugh. What a horrible card. Essentially you are killing your hand (by a net of 3 cards - Cost Down, the discarded card, and the Monster you are summoning) in exchange to keep a monster on the field instead. If you are that worried about field presense and having something to tribute, stick with Apprentice Magican / Old Vindictive Magician combo, Magician's Circle (since that can get any Spellcaster with an ATK of 2000 or less to the field regardless if they need tributes like DMG), or deck Treeborn Frog (non-Spellcaster, but just very useful in dealing with Tributes). Any of them make for better spots than Cost Down.

Well, I removed Cost Down and I traded it for Slate Warrior...XD Weird I know but Slate Warrior is cool. I also added Harpie's Feather Duster for the Hobby League I play at. I love that card XD. In sanctioned tourneys I just take out the duster cause I have 45 cards XD. So yeah, will be making a few changes tonight with my new cards. Look back soon! n.n

I'm revamping right now a bit, and I am wondering, Toon Gemini Elf....yay or nay? What about Exiled Force? Also, Dark Elf? What do you guys think of those possible additions? If yes, what should replace them?

Okieday! Deck was changed a tad! I like my new Morphing Jar n.n Such a fun card it seems and really good too. Also, instead of Seven Tools of the Bandit, is it worth it instead to use Trap Jammer? Which is better? And also, any comments on the cards I mentioned in my last post?

P.S. I'm trying out Toon Gemini Elf like was requested by Andrew.

Even though there's a cost, Seven Tools of the Bandit is usually a better choice since it's more flexible...

Of course Royal Decree would work even better (if you're not running a Trap heavy deck).

Royal Decree:

TP4 - Ultra Rare
TP6 - Super Rare
DB2 - Super Rare
SD5 (Warriors Structure Deck) - Common
Hobby League - Parallel Rare

The easiest would be the SD5 version since every structure deck will have 1... or just trade for it.
