HI folks,
Here is a very simple question for you:
Is the effect of Solemn Wishes a trigger or a continuos effect? So will it resolve in a chain between the chainlinks or start a new chain after resolving the first one?
thx for any reply

Lord Hades said:...and the continuos effects are cards that are face-up on the field, and its effect remains active...when the continuos card es removed form the field its effect disapears...
...also a continuos card has a icon in the card that represents its property...thast why "solemn wishes" its a continuos card effect...

Any other opinions ?

Homunculus is a manually activated spell speed 1 effect, AKA "Ignition". It is not a Trigger.squid said:outside of actual rulings, what is the method for determining whether a card effect is continuous or trigger? I understand the difference in effects, but am not so clear on distinguishing.
Ex: I would never have thought Homunculus the Alchemic Being as a trigger effect (so I read).
Ex: Wave Motion Cannon is continuous in its counting of Standby Phases, but its cost for applying the damage would seem more of a triggered event.
=/
Or am I just not getting it (happens often with me)?
-Xe0- said:Thx for all reply. I though it should be a trigger effect, cause its similar to the effect of Stumbling. So is see i was wrong. ^^
May you give me a rule how i can determine what is trigger and what is continuos? (in relation to continuos trap/spell cards)
