Something on Equip Spells from the rulebook.

Part of the Equip Spell explanation in the current rulebook says, "When activating this card, place it in your Spell & Trap Card Zone so that it overlaps slightly with the Monster Card that you wish to equip."

Now let's say I have a Blade Knight on the field and Stumbling is below it. I play Big Bang Shot and equip it to Blade Knight. The above part seems to suggest that I could move cards around so that Big Bang Shot is below Blade Knight, but if I'm not mistaken I can't actually do that. The cards have to remain where they're placed; whether in the Monster Card Zone or S/T Zone.

It just makes it easier for the younger players to remember which cards are equipped to which monsters. Maybe get some strips of paper to link up the two cards in question.

Yeah, or when I get the chance, I'll throw my monster way out on slot 1 or 5 if needs be and do the equip over there. As anthony said, is more for the kids and the casual duels to help keep dibs on things.

Basically, Curtis says that even if the rulebook says that, you shouldn't follow it.

Curtis says that they shouldn't leave the S/T zone at all.
...and you and I both know that he is correct. You place it in your S/T Zone no matter which monster it is equipped to.

The wording is misleading in that sense i agree, but it seems like it was intended to make it easier for youngsters. I've never aGreed with that way of doing things but...meh...

If only there were "junior rules" so that we would know what not to pay attention to.
I personally consider the entire book "junior rules" that way i never run into these issues.
