Netrep said:"Cyber Phoenix's" Continuous Effect will not negate cards that have 2 targets, such as "Penguin Soldier" or "Mystic Box".
I dont see it as targeting two Monsters. I see it as targeting the intial Monster, and when it resolves, you select whatever monster is still standing on your side of the field.Peps said:I'd assume Spell Shield Type-8 wouldn't be able to negate Riryoku as well due to Riryoku targetting two monsters. That crossed my mind as well. Really, the question here is, does Riryoku target two monsters? If it does, Spell Shield Type-8 can't negate it. If it doesn't, then it can. However, I suppose it's another one of those situations (for now) where it's up to the head judge of an event to decide. The text is really too vague to decide whether or not it targets one or two monsters.masterwoo0 said:I dont see it as targeting two Monsters. Considering it's a much older card, it could very well be that the language isnt like our current templating when it comes to targeting and non-targeting.Peps said:That crossed my mind as well.
