Spirit of the Pot of Greed IOC-009

Effect Monster - 1 Star, Light, Fairy, 100/100
When this card is in face-up Attack Position on the field, if a player activates "Pot of Greed", he/she can draw 1 more card.

An interesting card, for one card on the feild, you can draw 3 cards from your deck

Theoreticly, it won't be very useful unless you use your Pot of Greed several times

100/100 and the need to be in attack position hurts it, too
but being a fairy, you could protect your life points with The Sanctuary in the Sky, or just have it out to goad your opponent into attacking so you can use your Mirror Force/Sakuretsu Armour

Being a 1 Star, you could play Spirit, play Pot of Greed, then use Metamorphosis to change the Spirit into a Thousand-Eyes Restrict and Spirit is Light, too, so you could use it to summon Chaos monsters

I'll also mention a nearly similar card: Avatar of The Pot AST-016:
Effect Monster - 3 Star, Earth, Rock, 1200/1300
Send 1 "Pot of Greed" from your hand to the Graveyard to draw 3 cards from your Deck.

There are some advantages to using this as opposed to Spirit of the Pot of Greed, first, it has more attack and defense, and doesn't need to be in attack mode to use it's effect
Another is that you send the Pot of Greed from your hand to activate it, and thus, you can use it even when your Spell/Trap zones are all full

The downside to both is that the chances of having both Spirit of the Pot/Avatar of The Pot and Pot of Greed at the same time is slim, but with both being searchable by Sangan/Witch of the Black Forest/Last Will, it might not be too hard

Well, Pot is part of his name, so he could be.......what a mystery.

Anyway, I was wondering something after reading the whole thread.
I get that When multiple Spirit of the Pot of Greeds are on the field their effects form a chain when their effects activate simultaneously.
I also get that with Avatar of The Pot it is considered a cost to discard Pot of Greed.
My question is can you discard 1 Pot of Greed to pay for multiple Avatar of The Pots on the field. I wouldn't think so, but I thought I would ask.

Really? I thought that it was a goblin (or something) with a head that looked remarkably like that carved onto the Pot of... Pot, which was the reason that it was chosen to be the avatar.

I don't think it's holding anything, just waving its arms around as though saying:

"Whoah, I think there was something funny in that hippie. But anyway, I have come to the realization that..................Dude.... my hands are huge.... they can touch anything but themselves.......(touches hands together)... oh wait...."

Hehehe, Futurama is fun.:D
