Spiritual Earth Art... Battle Phase

Again I ask a question that appears to be pretty obvious just to be sure...

I have a set Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane and my opponent declares an attack on my face up Earth monster. After the Turn Player passes his priority to respond to the declared attack can I activate my Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane to tribute my Earth monster to special summon a Lvl 4 or lower Earth monster from my Graveyard (causing a replay)?

Of course. There's no reason you can't do that.

You could even attack with your EARTH monster, and then after that attack use Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane to Special Summon a different EARTH monster to attack with.

back to this old question... does Kurogane, when activated in response to opponent's attack cause a replay? or does the attack go through on the new monster.

Replay! Different Monster, different target.
Even if it is the same Beast Monster for Beast Soul Swap, it would cause a replay. Or, if you use Cunning of the Six Samurai and SS the same 6 Sam you sent, it still causes a replay.
