Strike Ninja vs Creature Swap

I play Creature Swap, and select my attack position Scapegoat, he has Strike Ninja, and Tribe-infecting Virus on the field. Is he able to SELECT Strike Ninja as the card to be "swapped" and AFTER selecting Strike Ninja, activate his effect to remove itself from play until the end of the turn? If yes, would I get Tribe, or would Creature Swap resolve with no effect.

okay im getting the situation here, and its a tricky one.

for starters, cs isnt a targeting effect or so i have heard. i may be wrong on that. BUT from what this situation tells me is that, you choose an attacking scapegoats and your opponent choose his or her strike ninja.

that means, that strike ninja is no longer your opponents and isnt allowed to activate its effect.

now if your opponent gave you TIV, and then choose to activate its effect when you activate TIV's Effect then yes they can do it since the monster is currently theirs.

but in this situation no, they cannot, since they have missed their chance of using Strike ninja's effect because its no longer theirs.

When Creature Swap is activated, the effect of Strike Ninja must be activated in a chain to it. Then, at the resolution of Creature Swap, only TIV could be chosen.

Monsters selected for the swap are chosen during the resolution of the effect. At this time, the effect of Strike Ninja cannot be activated, because Creature Swap is in the middle of its resolution.

Once control is switched, the new controller of Strike Ninja or Tribe-Infecting Virus can choose to use their effects.
