Structure deck spoilers after the Machines

A LIGHT themed Fairy deck that suddenly makes 1 old sleeper card suddenly useful, Counter Fairies more useful, and another Spirit Reaper.

SD11-JP001
Airhero (?) - Neo Perseus
Light/Angel/7/2300/2000
This card can be special summon by sacrificing a [Airknight - Perseus] from your field. When this card attack monster is defense mode, this card's attack strength is higher than the defense strength of the defending monster, deal battle damage to opponent equal to the difference. Also, when this card does battle damages to opponent, draw a card from your deck. When [Sanctuary of Sky] is on the field, when your lifepoint is higher than opponent's lifepoint, increase this card's attack and defense strength by that difference.

(Just in case you don't know, they're referring to Airknight Parshath up there. Further... Sanctuary in the Sky? Are they freaking kidding me? Awesome.)

When this card is face-up on the field, when a Counter Trap is activate increase your lifepoint by 1000. Also when [Sanctuary of Sky] is on the field, destroy a card on opponent's field.

(A Raigeki Break effect if Sanctuary in the Sky is on the field? Wow.)

When this card is destroy and sent to Graveyard by battle, you may add a Counter Trap from your Graveyard into your hand.

(And a way to get them all back...)

Guide of Victory - Freya
Light/Angel/1/100/100
When you have other Angel type monster(s) outside of [Guide of Victory - Freya] on your field, this card cannot be target of attack. When this card is face-up on the field, increase the attack and defense strength of Angel type monsters on your field by 400.

When this card is destroy as result of battle and sent to Graveyard, you can choose and special summon a Light/Angel monster from your deck with attack strength of 1500 or less onto your field. When [Sanctuary of Sky] is on the field, you can special summon an [Airknight - Perseus] instead.

(Shining Angel's replacement where you can get Airknight Parshath instead.)

When [Sanctuary of Sky] is on the field, when this card is sent to Graveyard outside of by being destroyed in battle, increase your lifepoint by 1000.

(While we all know Life Point gains aren't that great, if you're building the combo around Sanctuary in the Sky, they are useful to have.)

This card cannot be destroy as result of battle. When this card's controller suffer damages, destroy this face-up card on the field. When sacrifice summon for a Light/Angel monster, this monster can be treated as two sacrifices.

(Feel the Reaper love here, decent ATK strength, and can be a 2 Tribute for you. Yowza.)

Divine Protection of Goddess
Trap - Continuous
Increase your lifepoints by 3000. When this card is face-up on the field when leaving the field, you suffer 3000 point damages.

(Definately Meh unless you are comboing it with Sanctuary in the Sky or have Royal Decree handy too.)

Overall... it's looking pretty solid esp. when comboed with some other key cards. The Anti-Meta continues.
 
Rumored to have common Solemn Judgment and Voltanis the Adjudicator, too. I'll be getting this for sure.
 
So this means Fiends are next? Please, please, please....

Machine Structure should be out January from what I have seen, at least for pre-orders. That would put this deck out in April, give or take a month.....
 
That divine protection of goddess looks nice. Hate a barrel behind the door set and thats health for you and when protection goes bye bye your opponent is down 3k. Basic double play.

So what's the catch on the Twins? You take damage and they die? Okay...so when did they take "Defense mode" out of the rule book. Seriously...that thing is...pretty awesome. Yay for incredibly sweat Angels! Yay for Mudora! Yay for sad Nomi-Airknight!

Wow, interesting. An "upgraded" Airknight Parshath. Too bad it's a level 7. You either have to discard it to the graveyard and then special summon it, or have that Airknight on the field and that card in your hand.

Okay... that card sound SCARY. you can SEARCH a TRAP CARD. (Counter Trap, but still) That's scary.... Even that cat can only search a Trap Card to the top of your deck. (unless you had Necrovalley on the field) especially in a counter fairy. I expect this card to be a staple in a counter fairy deck. (Heck, it's a 1800ATK beefy monster)

That's interesting. It'a Shining Angel, but with just Fairy Light decks, and can access to Airknight Parshath. But don't know if Sanctuary field spell is worth it.

Is this Battle damage, or Burn damage, or is it both? I guess you can just set him and play like if it's a Spirit Reaper. But seriously, why do they keep creating monster cards that cannot be destroyed as a result of battle if BOTH of them are 1 per deck now. (i.e. Spirit Reaper and Marshmellon in JPN)

:? Mask of Darkness can put any Trap in your hand. This is just not a Flip. If it pulled the Trap from your deck that would be a bigger deal.
 
Yeah, but Mask of Darkness, you need that Trap Card in your graveyard. I find deck search effect more scary then graveyard searching cause there's usually more options, deck thinning, overall better draws, etc.

Kind of like how MoF is useless if you don't have any spell cards in your graveyard.
 
Um...Doc? Harvest can only get Counter Traps from the graveyard. Methinks you misread the effect. Still good, just not AS good as you thouoght it was.
 
I know that Harvest only searches Counter Traps. If it searchs any traps from deck, then it would either be banned or 1 per deck not to mention everybody will run it. (Probably banned since Mask of Darkness is 1 per deck)
 
Counter - Angels have a new card to look forward to. Harvest, Artemis, (and Melltius w/ Sanctuary) all on the field with several Counter Traps will ensure a quick and decisive victory over the opponent - at the opponent's frustration move by move!
 
Doc, Harvest doesn't get ANY traps from the deck. When it's destroyed through battle it gets a Counter trap back from the GRAVEYARD. Like an 1800, non-flip, angel-ey, mask-ey thing.
 
Opps. Your right, it's from the graveyard getting effect. Darn, I misread it was from deck search.

Your right, in that case, Mask of Darkness is way better.

Wow. Mars with trample, and a base 2300 attack?
Not as easily searched as mars perhaps, but wow.
Add cestus of dagla and even more wow...
