Swords vs flip effect vs Devine Wrath

OK, I've been wondering how this is going to play out:

Player B has a face-down Cyber Jar (any Flip Effect monster will do)
Player A has a previously "set" Devine Wrath

Player A activates "Swords of Revealing Light"
No chain by either player - resolve

Link 1 - Swords of Revealing Light
--All face-down monsters on opponent's side are turned face-up. (Cyber Jar)
--Any effects they have are activated. (Cyber Jar now triggers)

Now, this is the sticky. Player A wishes to use his/her "Devine Wrath" to negate the activation and resolution of Cyber Jar, but Cyber Jar was activated durring the resolution of Swords. Is the timing correct for the activation of the Counter Trap in this case, or is it lost?

If the timing is correct, please offer how the chain is created and how it resolves.

Please provide rulings or at least good correlations to existing rulings to support your view if you feel inclined to answer.

Thank you.

Cyber Jar (and any other Flip effects) activates immediately after activation, starting a new chain. Then you can chain Divine Wrath.

(from "Simultaneous Effects") Example #1:
Player A activates Swords of Revealing Light. Player B controls a face-down Cyber Jar and a face-down Morphing Jar #2. Both effects activate simultaneously, and Player B chooses the order in which they go on a chain. Player B can choose to have Cyber Jar be Step 1 (and resolve last) and Morphing Jar #2 to be Step 2 (and resolve first), or vice versa.

Therefore
1) A new chain occurs
2) You can chain to the flip monsters' effect

furryjenny, I did read that, but a slight difference is present here.  In the case you mentioned two same speed effects activate simutaniously, and are forced into a chain.  What I am asking about is the voluntary activation of additional links to this chain formed within the resolution of a different effect.

I agree that the activation of a Counter Trap seems most plausable, but I am looking for an actual ruling in this intance.  Devine Wrath is a popular card right now, as is Swords.  This senario is bound to come up, and when it does I would like to be prepared with the "correct" answer.

Didn't I just answer this? You can chain "Divine Wrath" to whatever was the last effect on the chain is. You would have that right before the other player can do anything since he's the one who had to set up that chain. If you don't and he activates something after it, you've lost the window.

Yes.

Effects dont resolve withing effect. so that means swords is played and filps all face down.

Swords is now complete.

Any flip effect monster that fliped now start their own new chain.

Opponent can now use Devine wrath to negate the newly started chain.

which oviously is the Flip effect monster.

Mind you devine wrath negates effects not summons or flips or anything just effects.
