First off, does anyone have a correct list of all the rarities of the cards available now, and perhaps the rarity changes to certain cards from Japan to here? Appreciated, if so.

Being at the pre-release today, I noticed a BIG change with this new set. That being, it's much, much easier to get a Super or Ultra Rare now. (1:5 and 1:12, respectively, according to the pack.) Most people in the flights seemed to have an Ultra and a Super, or a mix of even up to 3 of them total, out of 5 packs. That's quite a boost in rarity, and a pretty good thing, really, perhaps to make up for however many Secret Rares might be in the set, total? Noone there that I heard about pulled any, except for one supposed Holographic Rare Rainbow Dragon, but I didn't see it, so whether or not it was a Ghost or Secret, I wouldn't know.

Overall, though, out of 2 Open Duels (my brother and I) and the flight I entered, I left with 3 Ultras, and at least half a dozen Supers, all of which were pulled and not traded for at all. From past pre-releases, I would be lucky to get an ultra at all, and only 2-4 Supers. There were many people I saw with a lot of Supers and Ultras pulled, so they may not be as uncommon, as before.

I had speculated that Il Blud was a Secret, not seeing one all day. Was hoping to maybe get a few, but that looks to be out of the question anytime soon.
I also wanted Cyberdark Impact! pretty bad, hearing that went from a Super to a Secret was like shoving a butter knife through my chest. I also didn't see a single Hunter Dragon the entire day, from anyone.

Admittedly, the three commons they made rares were pretty good choices, considering what the cards do, though I had hoped to get a Phalanx Pike, and a few Damage = Reptile, not finding them to be commons anymore stung a bit.

I think having 10 Secret Rares is still a bad idea, since UDE obviously has some control over what their cards can be, why not just have 4 Secrets, and add 1-2 rares, 2-3 Supers, and 3 Ultra Rares? Unless the Secrets will be easier to pull than 1 per box average, this is still highly disappointing.
 
Seems to me you just had some bad luck. While CDIP(spell) wasn't drawn on my sneak peak either, there were however 4 Crystal Seers drawn along with around 6-7 secret rares including Il Blud. I Myself also managed to obtain 2 Hunter Dragons. Luck of the draw I guess :p
 
hmmm - i was asking everyone if they had hound dragon or the cyberdark impact and could not find anyone who had either one on sat....maybe someone sunday got em....i was looking foreward to breaking out the cyberdark deck again....guess it'll have to wait....

or were they released as hunter dragon?
 
well i got a rare hunter dragon and a ghost rare rainbow dragon just from the 6 packs. i didnt get to move around much as people had me stuck to the chair asking for trades, i kept it though.
